I do think that before asking for stuff you need to be clear what charity it is for and when the event is. The confusion over both these has caused people to be a bit suspicious and the last thing we need on here is more bad feeling! I know most people are generous in giving to charity but there is a big difference in the two causes you have mentioned and some people may have already done 'their bit' for comic relief this year as it was several weeks ago now.
Perhaps in future this kind of request could be posted on the chat thread?

Sorry but no requests for swapping/gifting or selling, no matter the cause are allowed on MSE on either thread and will be removed as per this rule...

    hi geordie lass -

what woud you recommend to use when the neutralising pads run out?

    tia

    Hiya molthedoll
The neutraliser that comes with a peel is designed to work with it, peels and neutralisers come in different strengths and complement each other. Personally I would only use the neutraliser supplied with the peel otherwise you risk the peel process continuing if it's not neutralised correctly.
I wouldn't take the advice of anyone over the internet when it comes to something like this. You need to speak face to face with a qualified beauty therapist and get their advice.

I managed to get mine today in a really tiny Boots. Was the only one left and the SA was looking at the till like an alien had landed on the screen when it said £1. She sighed a few times then really reluctantly said £1 for the 2 items (nail varnish too). May be worth looking at the small ones which people only really use for pharmacy as I had searched all the big ones to no avail.

I only managed to get one from a small Boots too and could only get brown/black.

Most people have found that as long as the glyco peel voucher is LAST it doesn't matter which way around the other 2 are.

    Hi Bubbahut
If you always hand over your points vouchers first then you'll be fine. Get the points added before the total starts to drop with MOC's :D

    Thank you jediteacher xxx

I agree, and it costs such a fortune- about 3 weeks ago, I was getting some clothes for DS who is 3 next week (although is in 5yr old clothes, lol) and I actually bought the tractor dungaree set for the full price of £18 (we live on a farm, and he is tractor mad- daddy's boy)

But I was saying to DH tonight that if we could stock up on clothes, it could be a real bargain with the 70% off sale plus 20% of original value..... £100 of clothes= £10!!! :T:beer:
hi i think you have it wrong there mini mode isn't 70% off its 25% or 50%, so £100 minus 20% voucher = £80 minus 50% sale price = £30 still to pay.

I think this is a really good idea and should be stuck to, as anyone could say that they are doing a charity event and ask for donations/gifts etc and just keeping/selling them. I'm not saying that it has happened (but I have my own thoughts on that so don't shout at me) but I believe that anybody else asks please refuse to send them things and hopefully their posts will be removed too. If you have a big stash going spare and want to help a charity TAKE IT TO A CHARITY SHOP OR SHELTER!!!!!!
