Saw lots of new reductions on the shelves today including half price Mitchum deo (1.42) Rightguard and Boots own were reduced too, Half price Sanctuary gift set - think it was called Top to Toe spa kit (9.84) and a big selection of washbags and make up bags half price too. There are also alot of false eyelashes (revlon i think) which were reduced to half price last week (2.99) am keeping my fingers crossed that these go down again and that I am in the right place to scoop a few boxes for DD!

In a tiny boots I managed to pick up a whole range of the Miss Makeup brushes ranging from £2.50 for the blusher brush down to 40p for the double dipper applicators....very pleased with those:)

Has anyone tried the Boujois illuminating concealer brush - it seems like a good deal at the moment at £3.84 when using a pooey, just wondering if anyone has tried it and can give some feedback?

Thanks in advance and happy shopping everyone!

for £4.50 and the berry make up bag for £2.50 (I cant find a pic on .com sorry). Im sure their were a few others but Ive got a memory like a sieve at the mo!

Their was also boots own roll on deodorant for 35p but I still havent put my adv card back in my bag so not sure if the points would work on this and fcuk cool down spray (I think) for £1.25. Apologies for the huge links, I couldnt work out how to do smaller ones.

    hi
sure, i'll get a picture of one of the stalls.
i was mistaken, its for comic relief. either way its still a very good cause and the causes the charity helps are very close to me.(long story,a bit busy so cant go into details)
its in the first week of the new school term, so in two weeks time.

and i do feel i would be compromsing the safety of pupils so i would not like to be put in that position.

I do think that before asking for stuff you need to be clear what charity it is for and when the event is. The confusion over both these has caused people to be a bit suspicious and the last thing we need on here is more bad feeling! I know most people are generous in giving to charity but there is a big difference in the two causes you have mentioned and some people may have already done 'their bit' for comic relief this year as it was several weeks ago now.
Perhaps in future this kind of request could be posted on the chat thread?

i think some people on here ight have had some of those suspicions that elisamoose has refreed to because of all the changes, lack of publicity and the non participation of the general public.

that said though hja has said that she will provide us with pictures and will try to get a news article in the local paper.

tbh - can understand why hja does not want to giv too much detail for the fundraiser for her schol as she might get into truble

what hja should have done is discuss where she was going to make requests for donations from with her form tutor and parents so that everyone was informed and that way the ft could have provided her with any details for her to use on here.

hja could have got confused with the name of the charity, as i am sure may students do - when you are in an environment where you may particpate in approx 20 - 30 fundraisers in a school year, and there is something hapening every week nae day it is easy to do - even the most organised teachers do this:eek:

    Hi everyone,

I'm just doing my 3rd Gyclo peel treatment and must say I already feel my skin looks and feels so much fresher and younger (and I'm only 32!)

Anyway, the instructions say there's enough for 8 treatments but I've had 3 and have used hardly any (after all it's only 4 pumps of product per treatment!)

It says 'there may be a bit left over' but at this rate it's going to last me far longer than the neutralising pads which I find really annoying!!

Am I doing something wrong or have others found this too?

    TIA

    Em xXx
Yes, my pads are almost out too, and I've got loads of the peel stuff left! I havn't seen any replacement pads, so I'll probably [STRIKE]use water and a mild face wash to take it[/STRIKE] off hope it doesn't leave me like this :o or this icon8.gif!

EDIT: Geordie Lass has just made a good point below post # 2610, so please don't try this at home! I'll have to crack open the new box (from the lovely magic 3 combo) and hope I get some more vouchers for the glyco peel from the acm. Unless anyone knows if you can buy the neutraliser separately? - I' ll have a word with No.7 lady later in the week and report back.
    Thanks Geordie Lass :T

GOT this as part of reply from S&G

P.S. We’ve had several emails from people who normally have to use medicated
cleansing lotion as they have such sensitive skin, but find that our ‘Clean on Me’
leaves them with amazingly soft skin and absolutely no irritation. Has this been
your experience? Write in and let us know!

could be a useful bit of info for those with sensitive skin!

    Hiya minimoneyme

Just reading backwards, saw your post and thought I should quickly jump in. Please don't be tempted to just use water or facewash, the pads actually contain a neutraliser which is an important part of the process. You might find yourself with chemically burnt skin if you don't neutralise properly, it's important that you do this.

Hope I haven't scared you but I thought it important to point it out :o
