Lol, it never struck me until now that that was my very first glitch! lol

I am so chuffed to have finally been able to contribute something useful, instead of my ususal ramblings, lol

    Well done.

I can now thank you publicly. It is an excellent glitch for those of us who have to clothe little ones that keep growing out of their clothes at lightening speed! :rotfl:

Back to Boots: London Colney has a few bits and bobs in their clearance but not much to shout about.

  • So have I got this right?

    Gylcol peel £17.60
    Skin Illuminator £10.30

Hand over voucher for Iluminator, takes off £10.30
Hand over voucher for peel, takes off £8.80

    so £8.80 to pay

The question is what is the max price of the third item I can have under the 3 for 2 rule to make sure I still only pay this?

Or have I got it all wrong?

I think your third item HAS to be under the price of the illuminator. So the item £10.30 or less comes off free anyway before any vouchers as the 342, and the you get the free illuminator and then half price peel hth x:T

    Thank you jediteacher xxx

I agree, and it costs such a fortune- about 3 weeks ago, I was getting some clothes for DS who is 3 next week (although is in 5yr old clothes, lol) and I actually bought the tractor dungaree set for the full price of £18 (we live on a farm, and he is tractor mad- daddy's boy)

But I was saying to DH tonight that if we could stock up on clothes, it could be a real bargain with the 70% off sale plus 20% of original value..... £100 of clothes= £10!!! :T:beer:

    No7 Hydro Quench range...
Has it been discontinued? I was trying to order online, but I cannot find any.
    Any info greatly appreciated!
    Thanks! :)
Yes, it's been discontinued, or maybe rebranded/renamed. There was loads of the Hydroquench range on clearance nationwide recently, you might still find a few items if you are lucky.
  • Thank you.

Just checked and price is £10.00 cos I copied the wrong thing. Powder not illuminator. How confusing.
So anything under that is free,
    Cool, happy me!

Still no sign of powder at my local so thought I'd just try line lift, peel and 1 other. I took ages deciding what I'd have and eventually went for a L'Oreal night cream costing £12.58. Line lift is £12.70.

I went to main tills where a fav SA was but she was busy with another customer who needed help. SA I got didn't seem to appreciate the "advantage" part of the Advantage Card. cry.gif

She put all 3 items through and the L'Oreal came off as the cheapest. So far so good. But then SA tried the Line Lift voucher. It beeped. She decided it was because I had already got the L'Oreal free. I explained it had worked last week and asked her to try again. She tried to get a supervisor. The SA from No7 tills came over. I said "I should just have come over to you", and she smiled but was trying to solve the problem for the other customer and couldn't look at mine.

Original SA went for someone else. Supervisor from pharmacy. She looked at voucher and she and SA insisted that I couldn't use the voucher because I'd already got the 342. I tried to very politely explain that all customers could get 342 but AC users should get some advantage from that. They weren't going to move on it so I said I'd just leave it all. I can't remember her reply but it wasn't particularly friendly.

I really had to bite my tongue when supervisor then said "We've got to draw the line somewhere."

I removed myself from the store as quickly as I could because if I had said anything I think I might have exploded.

I went back to the car and then decided to go back and have another try at the No7 till. But instead I decided to go to the opposite end of the shopping centre to M&S. I found some lovely bargains so spent my money there instead of at Boots. rolleyes.gif
  • Evening lovely ladies! Has anyone managed to find the elusive No17 £1 mailing mascara yet?! xx
I managed to get mine today in a really tiny Boots. Was the only one left and the SA was looking at the till like an alien had landed on the screen when it said £1. She sighed a few times then really reluctantly said £1 for the 2 items (nail varnish too). May be worth looking at the small ones which people only really use for pharmacy as I had searched all the big ones to no avail.
