Hi all:) I bought some 17 nail polish today, reduced to 80p each and linksave came up on the till. So I got 2 for 80p:jIt didn't work with the reduced eye shadows I was going to buy the other day:confused:maybe it's just certain items that activate the linksave. Only Mr B knows the answer I guess (although, I'm not sure he understands his tills either:rotfl:)

I'm going to try my magic vouchers later. Wish me luck:DI'm shaking as I write:rotfl:

The only different thing I saw on the No7 clearance was a rectangular make up compact, in silver, with a mirror inside and a name signed on the outside.
Think it contained eyeshadow, blusher and lip gloss and it was priced at £6.50, first time I have seen this, so not sure if it was cheap or not. HTH. :)

Hi jazzteddy im sure (tho I may be wrong) that the silver compact is the Lisa Eldridge one. I think this was a GWP quite a while back (could even be a couple of years back). My stash is ageless in that I can rarely remember when it was bought and how much it cost (tho im sure very little ;)) It has been known that I cant even remember buying stuff and its only when I come across it that im like "ooh I didnt know I had that" HTH

    age defying stuff ?
    olay age stuff ?
SORRY CANT BE MORE SPECIFIC AS I DIDNT REALLY HAVE TIME TO LOOK PROPERLY :o BUT THOUGHT THERE WAS SOME QUITE GOOD STUFF AS USUALLY THIS BOOTS HAS NAFF ALL! Bought the breathrx stuff and i have to say the mouthwash is very very good, not sure how much it was before as all the stuff only had clearence prices on. Hi Everyone,

I'm so happy! Took Mum shopping to Boots......as you do! Acm was very generous today & gave us both the magic 3 :j:j:j. I tried to explain the deal to Mum but she looked very confused so we made our way to the No.7 counter, picked up all 3 items plus some cheapy extras to hide the glitch.........found a nice young lad on the photo counter ;););) & voila! 3 x No.7, 2 x paracetamol, 1 x Bubblebath & 1 x L'oreal eyeshadow trio (using Pooey) £2.87 :j:j:j. SA looked perplexed & told me how lucky I was as I had just saved over £45! I then did the same with mums things...all ok....no till beeps! Then young SA stood staring at the till looking very confused  till says I owe you £1.87! Off I run to get some extra to make the till balance...........well it would be rude not to! It ended up cost Mum 15p. She is over 60 so she must have got the 10% discount making it even cheaper! Oh & we both got another Pooey!
    Don't you just love Boots!

wow. That was good debs!! Well done.
Was in Dundee this morning and bought the no7 peel, two of the advanced hydration day cream and the line lift. Used the peel voucher ok but the line lift beeped. The nice young sa called the supervisor and she just overrode the cost of the line lift so £21 the lot. Very happy!

tried to return unopened boots vitamins (as i do not want them), and was rejected in store. was told that things like this can not be refunded. Can not see why. It is not cosmetics, food or medicine, is it?

I just wanted to say a big thank you to whoever posted about the 'glitch' with the clothes (sorry, I don't remember who).

Today, I bought my daughter £40 worth of clothes for £12. I got the half price discount and then used the 20% off which brought down the total to £12 and I also used a double points coupon from the baby mailing so got 144 points.

    Thank you very much. :A

P.S No magic 3 vouchers for me at all! I never seem to get any No7 ones.

i dont have anything more i can say about the charity event without comprimising the safety of pupils at my school and my safety.
im sorry i can't be more helpful
and i was talking to a friend yesterday and she said we have an amazing amount of stuff, so i dont think we need anymore.our stall will be absolutely packed. and i had relatives come by this morning who brought about 2 bags full of stuff. thankyou for everyone who has already helped.and thankyou for the general intrest of people on this board.
i'll make sure i'll tell everyone how much we managed to raise.

    thankyou

Personally, I don't understand how you would be comprimising the safety, no one knows who you are. I do understand that there is a safety issue regarding you don't want people wondering in off the street but I highly doubt that would happen anyway.
I know that our school has charity events and doesn't go to the papers but they put them in the newsletter. Recently £2000 was raised for a childrens cancer charity.
I just think that people have donated their goods and would like to see where they have gone but also, many people have been affected by cancer and would like to support the cause. Maybe if you can't get newspaper coverage, you could take a picture of the stall and post it on here?
    It's just a suggestion,
Could you just confirm the date of the event and what charity it is for, just so everyone knows?

    TIA
