    Good morning folks :D

It seems sensible to me if we have any comments to make about chat or lurking that we make them on the Chat thread, otherwise we are just contributing to the "problem" of too much chat.

Polls....oops wrong link, I have corrected it.! The chat thing, it was a few pages back...someone was moaning about lurkers & Liverbirds seperate forum, same old discussion really!:)

That was me in reply to someone moaning about the new forum being exclusive when it's not!

Anyway - best to take this over to chat if anyone else want to make any more comments:D

Yes, someone reported a couple weeks ago that it would end around 1 April, but I think that meant new people couldn't sign up after that time. It supposedly will still work for those already signed up until October.

I forgot to report that I bought a couple of Health Club items yesterday, and I got my 50% off so it is still working for people who are already members. I think it's a bit dodgy that Boots won't tell us exactly when it ends, as the first time I see I didn't get my discount on washing up liquid, I'm turning around for a refund (that stuff is overpriced without HC!).

Did you notice that Boots have hiked the prices on the Sensitive range? There were no SEL's but the gloves are now £1.99 in my local, thank goodness for the HC discount. I bought a couple of pairs to tide me over but I'm looking round for another "supplier" now.

Hi folks, can I just say that there are quite a few boards that have sprung up from the original grabbit thread.

Some are totally private by invitation only, as is the right of the people running them.

The one set up by Liverbird was generously thrown open to MSE via a link. She did not have to do that, she could have just cherry picked as others have done in the past.

There is nothing stopping anyone from setting up there own board if they don't like the rules on another one. So please don't worry if the rules aren't to everyones liking, your own board can be set up with your own rules.

This is not directed at anyone in particular, just an observation on my part. But if anyone does have a particular problem with liverbirds board, she is very friendly I suggest they send her a PM about it.

    Well said Polls.
When I set the new board up it was originally planned as a weekend board to give us Bootsers our 'daily chat fix'. Its proved very popular and I was asked to keep it open. I did a poll on this subject and 100% of the voters opted to keep it going.

The only stipulation on joining was that people should sign up using their mse user name, which is fair to all concerned. The only people not being allowed in are the people who haven't done this.
If anybody has a problem with this, then I would appreciate a pm.

Has anyone tried getting the glyco peel, line lift and something which costs MORE than £12.70. Getting the line lift free because of 342 and then getting another £12.70 taken off because of the line lift voucher going through till...

Only have glyco and line vouchers left and wondered if the price of the line lift comes off even when the line lift was the free item (as the powder did). Any help appreciated thanks everyone x

    Hiya

I tried to get the peel, the line lift and something that had a SEL of £10ish but which came up on the till as £15ish, and made the line lift the free item. The line lift voucher beeped and the SA said it was because it was already free.

The 2 vouchers worked with no beeps when I got the peel, line lift and P&P handcream though
