    hi
NAB i'll find out at the start of the new term.
and everyone whos wondering why it isnt open to the public is because the hall wouldnt fit 700 people(staff and kids) and then the public on top. and its for the general safety of pupils.
i think you have to understand the concept of our school system to realise why they dont allow the general public. this annual charity even is just for pupils and staff to boost school morale before exams etc and obv for charity.
and Angel 50, most pupils at our school are very privelliged, a more common term is "better off" so i dont think they mind giving in stuff or spending money on things. anyway pupils bring in old stuff that they dont want so they dont really mind. a lot of pupils also bake cakes, cookies etc.
it is a shame that they dont open it for everyone but the event is to try and involve pupils, staff etc.
our school have a lot more charity events which raise a lot of money too, e.g coffee mornings, fun runs.
and also i dont think the charity event is such a big thing that it would be coverd by a local newspaper because its just a small, thing in a school.
oh, that was a long post.

I recently did a fund raiser for my local disabled club and my local paper were quite happy to do an article, they fill up spaces in the paper. I managed to raise £207 and a lot of the hampers were made up from boots bargains

Has anyone tried getting the glyco peel, line lift and something which costs MORE than £12.70. Getting the line lift free because of 342 and then getting another £12.70 taken off because of the line lift voucher going through till...

Only have glyco and line vouchers left and wondered if the price of the line lift comes off even when the line lift was the free item (as the powder did). Any help appreciated thanks everyone x

I have a powder coupon if you want it, its the line lift I cant get

I noticed some Bourjois mini products at Westfield today.
    Mini Nail File/ Buffer @ £1.99, Mini Mirror @ £1.99, Mini Lipgloss £2.89,
Mini Mascara @ £3.49. All these had cords to attach to mobile phones or purses.
There were also Mini Nail Varnish, various colours @ £2.89 and Mini Eye Shadow Pots, various colours @ £2.89.
Might be able to use the £2 off voucher on them.
They are cute and handy for stocking fillers/ party favours etc.
    :)

Hi, Which Westfield was it, please?

i just read on pts that the health club is ending except for over 60's..anyone else heard this??

Hi chazzy - it's definitely ending and a SA told me when. Unfortunately I was distracted (I spotted a bargain lol) but I'm sure the 10th of this month was mentioned. If I go back in the store, I'll ask them again. hth

I was told by an SA that existing members have got until the end of October before the benefits for them are withdrawn. Over 60's will still get health club benefits after this date though.
