    Thank goodness these perkies are over! Never seen anything quite like the pandemonium that was Silverlink and Kingston Park today, with people wandering around with voucher in hand, aimlessly staring at No7 stuff.:rolleyes:

    Nothing interesting in Silverlink store - no reduced petal No7, even though I know they had loads the other day, only 2 lip lacquers left, both quite a horrible colour,:( so off I went to Kingston Park. They had no lip lacquer at all, very few lipsticks, so I used my first perkie on No7 facial sponges as I'll actually use these. Paid at the pharmacy counter, as I wanted some paracetamol and codeine, handed over the perkie and the till beeped - offer not met.:eek: After my slight panic at this, assuring the SA that I've used these vouchers on accessories before, she realised she hadn't scanned the facial sponges - well that would do it! 99p to pay, total savings £4.92 including £1 health club save on paracetamol.

    Wandered over to the No7 stuff and was merrily browsing the last chance to buy stuff when the No7 lady said quite loudly from behind her little till counter to myself and another customer "you can't use the vouchers with the sale items". Like I wouldn't know that? Honestly!:rolleyes:

    So I used my last 2 perkies in 2 transactions: firstly bought No7 wipes, No7 spring eye pallette, & No7 spring lip tint in peach. Used perkie (paid at ordinary tills, NOT No7 till) Total £6.78 Saving £9.00

    Then used my last perkie on yet another Nail buffer set.

    One interesting thing I noticed on my receipt from the 1st transaction at the normal tills though - it says: No7 Qkthk4in1 wipes 6.40, No7 spring eye pal 5.38, No7 lip tint peach 4.00 now 0.00 (presume that's the 342 kicking in) then underneath it says Redeem uk save 5 (Includes No7 Qkthk 4in1 wipes) (Includes No7 Spring eye pal) Saving £5.00 now -5.00

    Does this mean, despite being hollered at by the No7 SA, that I could have used my perkie just on the eye pallette after all? That's the way I'm reading it, cos if not why does it mention that the perkie includes the eye pallette?:confused:

    If I'm right, it'll be the last time I'll listen to any of the No7 SAs!:rotfl:

    Went to Cribbs Causeway to spend my remaining perkies. Got No7 key ring, shopping bag, lipstick holder, 2 credit card holders and a lovely No 7 make up mirror on a stand. I only had 2 perkies left so got the 1st 3 on 3 for 2 and paid £5.08 and got a pooey. Then I exchanged some muslin clothes and headband for the last 3 and got one free. The sa was not sure she could exchange things as I had used a voucher but it worked fine. I also got a Vichy GWP. Then went to M&S and got free lunch with my £5.00 Oxfam voucher. Now home to a quiet house as my DD is away till the weekend. Clearance was rubbish by the way.

    Evening all:hello: I hope you're having a good weekend.

    Now I promised at the end of last week that I was going to give up Bootsing for a while but it seems I am truly addicted and need some serious help!! I've become a Boots bore and just can't seem to wait for my next fix which would explain how I've somehow been to 2 different stores over the last 2 days. I think my OH was fed up of my sulking today and took me out shopping just to keep me quiet!

    Anyway, I came away from Stevenage yesterday with nothing at all apart from some meal deals for lunch which kept the kids happy and today I went in search of Welwyn Garden City and fared a little better but still not great. The clearance was mainly overpriced spectacles and a few battered looking bits and pieces but I did find the 17 wipes for 99p and got a free 17 Nail Recovery Xtras which was priced at £3.42 (can't find it on .com) I also used 1 till split voucher on some L'Oreal eyeshadow which was reduced to £3.88 so I paid £1.88.

    I hope you've all had a successful perkie spending spree:T

    Yep, you're right. Hence me never paying at no7 counter... one no7 SA told me I had no rights to expect a refund on hair straighteners that didn't work as I had already had an exchange cos the first set didn't work... :eek:

    Sally06, I was horrified about your experience yesterday and I'm glad to read that you're taking it further. I hope you get a proper apology and don't let one bad experience put you off shopping at Boots.
    I noticed that I was being followed last week in MK as the same sa (possibly manager as all suited up) kept popping up at the tills when I was there. I probably made myself look suspicious with the walking round and round the same aisles for about half an hour though!

    .

    Cribbs is not so good for bargains these days. Clearance is pants there also. I bought the mirror a few weeks back and thought it was really nice - the one with the black metal edging and stand and the back looks similar to a photo frame?? Cribbs do have a good selection of No7 accessories though. Haven't the make up sponges shot up in proice with the new packaging - the old ones were £3.87 or so and now I think they are £5.87 - never worth that!!!!

    I'm jealous :o I trailed all over London yesterday and the nearest I got to the new accessories was an empty shelf with the right SELs - asked in a couple of places and they looked at me like:confused: "what you talking 'bout crazy woman!!"

    So I spent my last 5 perkies on 2 prs of No7 gloves (under a fiver for a change!) and 3 compact mirror sets @87p each.

    I was really hoping to find the foldaway bag, glasses case, keyring thing, credit card holder..... but no, it wasn't to be. A huge well done to anyone who was successful in finding the lovely goodies!

    Wombled a couple of £2 pooey TS vouchers from the SS when I paid :D

    The Sunday I'm free this board is not so busy... generally after the w/end I've got quite a lot of catching up to do lol!:rotfl: Not 2day tho... n e ways went B's y'day to finish using my last 4 Perkies and the Highlight powder voucher (this rec'd from a swap)... I also had some other vouchers 4 being part of the Parenting Club which r/were due to expire @ the end of the month... and as so many here I hate 2c vouchers being wasted & not used...;) Purchased the following:

    1st shop
    Highlight Powder @ £10 (Free with voucher) *** with No Beeps as per my previous post! I had prepared myself to explain to the SA I had been able to use the voucher on thurs but to my utter amazement when she scanned the coupon it just went thru!!!:j :j I was quite taken back but awfully pleased!:j )
    No7 Eye Palette @ £5.38 (Used Perkie)
    No7 Lip Laquer @ £4.75 (Free on 342)
    Bourjois Nail File @ £2.93 (£2 Voucher used)
    To pay £1.36;

    2nd/3rd shops
    No7 Lip Laquers @ £4.75
    " " " @ £4.75 (Used Perkie)
    " " " @ £4.75 (Free on 342)
    Bourjois Tweezers @ £2.93 (£2 Voucher used)
    To pay £5.68 + £2 Voucher;

    4th shop
    No7 Lip Laquer @ £4.75 (Free with Perkie; had far too many lip laquers by now so didn't use it on 342!)
    Bourjois Sharpner @ £1.95 (Free with £2 Voucher)
    2 * top/trousers from Mini mode @ £6 each (1/2 price) = £12 (used 10% off mini mode + £5 off £10 spend on baby)
    To pay £5.80 + £2 Voucher;

    5th shop
    Nappies * 2 packs @ £16 (used £5 off £10 spend on baby coupons * 2 + 2* £2/2* £1 off nappies vouchers all with different barcodes)
    EA Perfume £9.79
    EA moisturiser £5
    Total to pay £14.79 (with 1000pts back on EA) **** was unable to get the 3 EA items + the hand cream free (as posted by Bellydancer MT!:T ) as the store I went to had run out of creams, supposedly!:rolleyes: + £2 voucher gained;

    Also in another B's found the following in clearence:

    Palmolive Bath Milk @ 75p each (had 2 manufacturer 50p MOCs so cost 50p 4 both);
    No7 Nail Vanish/Foundations/Lipstick @ £1 each (tried to use Perkie but till said 'NO, NO!':p ); however the 342 kicked in so for 6 items £4;

    Max Factor Gloss Lip Balm clearence @ £1 * 2 (used £2 voucher from mailing! Woohoo, thought would never b able to get rid of this coupon as didn't want to spend too much just to get the voucher used... but 2 items 4 £2 with no extra spend, that's awesome!:D Pure luck, I know!:rotfl: )

    B's Electronic Bathroom Scale reduced to £3.91 on clearence!:T Don't know what the original price was... but still a bargain, me thinks...:j

    Came home & put all my stash away (admiring it, of course, whilst I put it away...:o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

    Edited 2 add: Sally, so terrible what happened 2u... do complain, as this kind of behaviour is not only unacceptable but is becoming quite frequent... TC
  • I wonder whether anyone would be able to help me. I've noticed on .com that Clinique is on "750 points WYB any two" - is this an offer that's on instore too? I'm on the lookout for some new mascara and also saving points up for perfume, so this would be perfect but none of my local stores have Clinique counters!

    Thanks in advance!
