This is a nice little combo if anyone has a perkie and a pooey to use up:

L'oreal de maq eye and lip make-up remover, £5.86

No7 no grains exfoliator, £4.30

No7 no grains exfoliator, £0.00

Total to pay: £10,16 - perkie - pooey = £3.86:T

if you can't find the exfoliator, then you could get:

No7 face wipes, £6.40

2 x l'oreal eye make-up remover (mentioned below), £2.62 each and 3 4 2

total: £9.02 - perkie - pooey = £2.02 to pay:T

L'Oreal Dermo Expertise Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover - 125ml, is only £2.62, so would cost 62p after pooey. I think I'm going to like the new pooey after all:rotfl: I love l'oreal actually. It's a much better brand than No7:D

off to write a letter to the manager of the store I was in yesterday. I have decided I can't let that SG get away with what he did to me. He might try it on with someone else. I work in that area and used to live near there, so it's a good job no one I know saw me being carted off by security - at least I don't think they did:eek:

Well done Sally - get that letter off pronto!!!! Don't let it stop you going to that store either. Every time you go there and that SG is there I would make sure I looked him straight in the eye and watch his discomfort!!!! Power happy with his security uniform on!!!

I'd address it to Head Office and copy it to the Store Manager if I were you. The SM might ignore it where as, hopefully, HO will not.

I ended up using up all my purkies on No7 wipes as could not get any bargains lol and none of the seven stores I tried had any stock of the freebie illuminating powder - on a better note though at least the wipes are something I will use! lol

VoucherQueen and Melgirl, thanks so much for your help, I'll keep my eyes peeled, I love museums and things like that, I just need to persuade the OH that they are worth visiting!

Thanks again, and sorry to be off topic (again!)

Hi everybody.I'm posting after a good 6 months, i stopped bootsing as I had no room left at all to store my "stock" in but am all sorted now so getting back into bootsing again.
Sorry to hear about your horrid experience sally06, I really do understand how you feel.I had the same experience with a woolworths manager once and felt really upset about it for days afterwards.I hope you get a proper apology.I got alot of support from everybody here but no apology from woolies.
Just wanted to add that the Loreal chrome eyeshadows are only 88p after using the voucher. They are reduced to £3.88 from £4.88 at the moment so I assumed that I would pay £1.88 after using a voucher but till takes off the promotional £1 after so really £3 saving for a good quality eyeshadow.Hth &sorry if it has been posted before.

hi sonee, welcome back:) I do remember your post about your experience in woolies and how upset you were. (gosh, my memory is not as bad as I thought it was:D ) sorry you didn't get an apology. Woolies went under didn't they? Hmm, their customer service was obviously carp:rolleyes:

The L'oreal eye shadows you mentioned are lovely and a bargain for £1.88:T

Just back from using my last 2 perkies - ended up buying 2 more of the mirror compacts for my hamper stash.

Still lots of GWPs at Vic centre, but no clearance worth having at all (just boxes of overpriced toothbrushes, some incontinence pads, and the NO7 Spring petal eye pallettes). As well as the Vichy, L'Oreal white bags, and Olay purple box GWPs, today I also saw another Olay one - grey suede-effect bag with Pantene and Olay minis in. I'm guessing this is another old one? All the skincare GWPs were being fiercely guarded by 2 SAs today - one was literally rooted to the spot right beside the stand with all the GWPs on.

But - for the first time I saw about half a dozen putting sets, in the mens aisle. Still S&G bags dotted about. Nothing much reduced on SELs etc. I mentioned yesterday I saw 17 make-up remover wipes at 99p in another store. I thought that was the normal full price - until I saw today in Vic Centre they're charging something like £2.9x for them  .

I used the new £2 off tillspit voucher on a really lovely eyeshadow trio yesterday. :)
It was the L' Oreal Paris Colour Appeal Star Secrets Trios Eye Shadow
On offer at the moment from £6.84p reduced to £4.84p so I paid just £2.84p after the voucher.
They have various colour combos' in different sets which all looked nice, so it was hard to choose.
In the end I picked a trio with light bronze, pale gold and cream eyeshadows, which looked lovely.

My question is can I use these on wipes and accessories? If not what else is cheap, I have loads of exfoliator so dont need anymore of that lol. Any help appreciated x
