Went to use my humiliating voucher today and it was all good:j

Voucher went through with 1 initial beep SA pressed a button and it went through no probs, explained to her before my transaction about voucher beeps etc,she must have thought I was a loon when it worked:D

Anyway i had my dad with me so got his 10% discount as he made the purchase for me

    Got 2 x handsaviours
    1 x highlighter
    used humiliating voucher and perkie
£3.54 to pay and 52 points had gift voucher so cost me nothing and also got a £2 cosmetics voucher:confused: (says total saving £27.06:D )

    2nd shop
    Petal eyequad
    No7 lipstick
    No7 lip lacquer
used perkie £4.11 to pay ( used another gift voucher) and 16 points x ( total saving £10.67)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • Just back from Boots. Exchanged the remainder of my perkies for no7 Stay Perfect Lip Lacquer @ £4.75 :)

Paid at the fragrance counter, "can I use these vouchers on these? " SA said, yes, its for all no 7. Scanned the Lip Lacquer and she said "oh, are they on clearance" I replied, "don't think so" "OK" she said, "must be the end of the line then" and happily scanned them all :)
Despite OH trying to herd me towards the No7 counter to pay  dunno how many times I have to say through gritted teeth, "I never pay at the no7 counter"

Quite pleased with my shopping today :)
ACM's still out of action though

It's true too Angie :o I needed to make a spend up to £5 smartish, so looked around and there they were - at something like £1.40. But I knew the Health Club would kick in, so they were about 71p. I really thought, in my haste lol, that they were nappies and might be handy for anyone making nappy cakes :o

But Incontinence Pants Cake doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have really enjoyed this! Thank you. But I suspect your local care home or hospice might appreciate them if you can't find a use for them.

VoucherQueen and Melgirl, thanks so much for your help, I'll keep my eyes peeled, I love museums and things like that, I just need to persuade the OH that they are worth visiting!

Thanks again, and sorry to be off topic (again!)

The Art gallerys are free too if you fancy a spot of art appreciation, the National gallery is on the edge of Trafalger Square so nice to pop in have a browse (recommend Van Gogh's Sunflowers) and then weather permitting sit on the edge of a fountain with an ice cream and watch the world go by.

I know this may sound expensive, but always fun to go to Harrods even just for the food hall, and they do really reasonably price filled rolls (delicious) and hot fresh pastries, actually found them cheaper than most sandwich/coffee places in London, and you can go and sit in the park a few minutes walk away and eat them.

Covent Garden great for outside entertainers, always something happening there and another good place for people watching.

China town worth a wander, amazing supermarkets full of cute things like hello kitty biscuits etc, and inexpensive, also the chinese buffets at about a fiver each for lunch are great, eat as much as you like, tend to look inside the window and if its full of chinese people eating you know it cant be bad !!

Have a fantastic time and if I think of anything else will let you know

So so so sorry to everyone for being completely and utterly OT :o

Mum gave me a perkie yesterday so as i was visiting family that way i went to the new boots at the ikea retail park nottinghamshire it only opened on wednesday. Well if anyone is thinking of making a special trip don't! it was rubbish. I thought it was going to be big but one of my locals is bigger. They had a tiny no7 range and nothing to much to spend my voucher on. other than the nail buffer or the lip gloss reduced. They didn't have any of the new accessories at all, i thought they would with being a new store. No spring pallets which i really wanted to get with my perkie. Acm didn't give me highlight voucher or anything of intrest.

The shelves are narrow and don't hold much stock and the make up displays were tiny. No gwp's of any kind no clearance or reductions (didn't expect there to be with it being new) But i was hoping for some reduced med range
    and no ss tills.

I got the lipgloss with my perkie but that was a bit of a hassle as it scanned at £9.50 and sa said it was only the lipstick on offer despite the signs saying they were £4.75 Luckly another sa overheard and said i was right and overode the till.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Went to Solihull Retail Park to use up perkies. Couldn't find the new accessories, so used them on moisturising gloves. No No 17 mascara left and no reduced med range. Got some Toni & Guy Colour Reviver Shampoo £4.88 minus £2 mail shot voucher and used ACM 150 pts voucher.

Edit: Just remembered voucher was from Boots mag not ACM!

My points are building up nicely again now. If I like the smell of this perfume, I could be tempted by this deal. :D
