Hi
Can the first post be updated for the benefit of newbies. I haven't been here for ages and just popped in and find reference to 'perkies'. Obviously some kind of money off voucher but I can't find any reference to what and what you have to spend to get it.
I don't shop in Boots regularly but if there are vouchers that I can use then I stock up on hair dye to get the vouchers. I've never found the first post clearly shows me when vouchers are being issued ( as I say not been here for a while).
Thanks0 -

But then what doesn't make sense to me is other posters who've bought the reduced Spring Pallettes, and the reduced lip lacquers on 342 etc with perkies.
I think its a bit hit and miss with the reduced items at the moment.:o
The Stay Perfect Compacts were going through in the begining at £3.xx each, so 2 for just over £1.xx with a Perkie.
Then in certain stores the Compacts went back up to £7.xx, in others they remained at £3.xx.
The Perkies started to beep and still do, if the Compact is your cheapest (therefore free) item on the 3 4 2 deal.
I bought some of the reduced No7 Lip Laquers in Plumberry, Belle and Sugar Mauve and they all scanned at £4.75p
and went through on 3 4 2, with a Perkie. They were flying out the doors. ...People were crowded around them,
as the No7 SA's had made a hand written sign showing the reduced price on them. So I was lucky to get some in the end.:)
I think you just need to make sure that your most expensive item on the 3 4 2 deal is 'Not Reduced'. Then it should be fine.:)0 -

Hi elektra,
The perkie is the No7/Ruby & Millie £5 off voucher, which was given out up until Tuesday 24th March, when you spent over £5 in one transaction in Boots. Its only valid for spending until tomorrow though. For that reason, I don't think theres much point updating the first post in the thread for this voucher.
The current voucher is a till spit, for £2 off various brands of cosmetics (but not No7). I don't think we've agreed what its called yet - maybe a pooey(because its not a brilliant voucher?). But rumours are that there is to be another voucher coming out on 1st April, which will be given out alongside the till spit. Maybe it will be the time to update the first post in the thread when that happens?0 -

It's not a bag. Just a box which has 'your free travel-sized skin health kit' on the front (so you can't give it as a gift like the olay ones!)
Inside is- Lift activ pro serum - 5ml
- 3 in 1 cleanser - 30ml
- anti wrinklw & firming care - 15ml
- same as above but night cream - 15ml
- sachet of anti wrinkle foundation
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:0 -

sorry to keep you in suspense:o I was busy at work and didn't have time to go through it all. I'd better not post on here though. I might get reported to the mods for my lost post and for chatting. Will pop over to the other thread and post on there...0 -

A "perkie" is the nickname for this one, mentioned in the Latest info of Boots Grabbit 51:
Spend £5 instore and get a voucher for £5 off N7/RM Exp. 24/3

I managed to pick up a 'Humiliating Powder' today and it lived up to its name.:o
The first till said No! What a surprise!
But the lovely SA could see that I had bought No7 items, so she directed me to another till,
to try it.......the No7 till.
My receipt showed I had done the 3 4 2 deal and used a Perkie. I thought I would get told that it didn't work,
as I had used a Perkie and had bought reduced items.
But the SA was very helpful and tried really hard to get the voucher to work.
We trudged back and forth between tills, until she could try no more.
So off we went to the senior No7 SA! (Aaaarghhhhh!!!).
Who turned out to be a complete sweetie, saying that I was 5th person today who had the voucher that wouldn't scan.
"Nevermind she said, I will over ride it for you as you have bought No7 items and I can't understand why it doesn't scan".:D
Panic over. But all that effort...For the only colour they had left...David Dickenson (Thats Island Glow by the way).
Oh well, it might be fine with a tan...A very dark one.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
