Just got back from the weekly Saturday trawl with DD.

Marketplace Durham had lots of tights and stockings on clearance for 75p-£1.xx, 50-100 points in ACM too. Sadly no black which is what DD wanted but a good buy for those who want skintone or teal  hosiery.

Lots of printer inks at 75% off too, managed to get a full set for DS1's printer. Also spotted reduced Picturemate ink and paper sets too so if anyone got the free printer last year it's worth looking out for these (double check the model numbers) as they were going for £7.xx

I'm beginning to rather like the new tillspit, I'm not a No7 fan and I don't subscribe to Mr B's idea that it's Premium beauty, but I do like Max Factor. Anyone having problems with No7's orangey foundations, check out MF Creme Puff, it's been around for years, I used to play with my mums compact when I was a youngster, but in my opinion it's still a good all in one foundation and the colours are great. Around £4.99 for a compact so £3 or so with a tillspit. They do a translucent one too, my favourite.

I bought teal, I thought they might look OK with a black dress and shoes, am I being crazy? I'm not really much of a funky dresser TBH and was deliberarting for a while over them!

First post in this thread .... but getting the hang of the game!!

Bought 3 for 2 No.7 products today - used £5 off voucher, thereby saving £11.30 + £5.00. Bought £20 of mobile top up ... made balance up to £46 by buying a couple of extra bits. Got £5 off for the pinky, used double points coupon and "extra 350 points when spending £40 voucher". A total of £23.08 to me.

Just to muddy the water over the great Humiliating powder shade debate...
I would forget about hair colour and look at skintone when choosing. Even if you have fair skin it's still either yellow toned or pink toned.
Yellow toned skin can look sallow with yellow or peachy tones so go for pink blusher.

Also, is your skin tone warm or cool? This from DD who probably read it in a magazine.... ;)
Get hold of two pieces of cloth, one in gold, one in silver and hold them up alternately to your face. Whichever one makes you look healthier reflects your skintone ie: if you look better with gold you have a warm skintone, better with silver, cool skintone. Some people, usually youngsters, look great with either and are neutral skintoned.

This probably won't help you decide which blusher to buy but on this basis she persuaded me to part with my silver scarf because it aged me and made her look fantastic :o :rotfl:

I actually thought the teal tights looked fab :D
DD was deliberating over them for a while but had nothing to wear with them. This could have just been a cunning plan to get me into New Look though.

I was kidding ANGEL50;) I don't like that look either:rotfl: I can't believe I'm still laughing after what just happened to me. Will tell you all a bit later when I've calmed down:(

high street kensington - big store

large clearance section at the back of store brimming with No7 bargains. Wish I'd saved my perkies now:rolleyes: I got a spring eye pallete though for 63p, after perkie, so I'm happy with that:D

loads of face creams, too many to mention all around the £5 mark. No7 xmas gift sets (nail and lip gloss) I think these are from xmas 07 though, but I could be wrong. All 75% off. No7 trinket, lippies, suncreams, fake tan, eye shadows. Loads of stuff, but I can't remember them all. Anyway get down there if you have lots of perkies to redeem.

Also, lots of MF GWP on MF counter;)

will be back later to tell you what happened to me. I'm still in shock. I think it might be a good time to give up bootsing for me. Well, after I've fired off a letter of complaint to CS...
Sally hope you are ok x
I had a humiliating experience yesterday and that was without using my No7 humiliating voucher:o I'm leaving that for another day
Must have spent a good 2 hours in boots ( just the one shop) with my bootsing pal;) . We ( well TBH she did all of this really ) worked out all different combinations for 342 on NO7 as we found some reduced no7 Pore serums, No7 body polish and no7 moisture lotions ( perkies would not work on them on their own would onlywork as part of 3 4 2 with full price item). Also found some vichy GWP's, putting sets and a lonely Olay GWP
All was going well whilst the baskets were virtual for me;)
I had 8 perkies to use ( thought it was only 7 but found another this morning:o ) so we went to tackle the SS tills. Well each and every transaction of mine was riddled with problems on the SS tills , from not accepting vouchers, problems with the basket, vouchers not being recognised in the slot and combos not working as I thought. SA was fab and very patient and I had her full undivided attention:eek: for literally my whole time at the tills:rolleyes: ( certainly NOT the reason why I wanted to use the SS tills quite the opposite infact!) Finally finished at the tills certainly with a much redder face than I had started with:o .
I thought I had loads of shopping but my pal had at least twice as much and decided she wanted more, I was very red and hot under the collar at this stage so decided to go outside whilst she continued to shop, so took all her bags with me, went to walk out ( I had several large bags whish had bags upon bags inside from all the individual transactions ) Well the door beeped:eek: so I went in search of an SA, then a large security guard came over too:o ~ where we tried every combination of me and bags, me without bags, just bags, 1/2 the bags in and out ( like the bloomin hokey cokey ) individual bags etc and could not find the one that beeped:o it only seemed to beep when I was loaded with the bags  , in the end the security guard just told me to leave the store as they couldn't suss what was actually beeping but advised me to put the shopping in the car before I entered another store.
My pal was brilliant after she had finished she was full of [strike]concern[/strike] giggles when she found out what a commotion I had caused:rotfl:

Anyway I got loads for the £19 I spent and 750 points back
    including 2 x No7 pore serums
    2 x No7 body moisture lotion
    2x No7 body polish
    2 x key fobs
    3 x vichy sets
    1 x putting sets
    various mens No7 items
No7peach ( like bathig range ) make up bag

Did use 500 points on a little bag with hairclips etc for DD a she was an:A

Only downside there were no compact mirrors but I am sure a few months time the perkies will be back.

On the plus side went to my local this morning and found a lovely snugglypink dressing gown for DD at half pice (£5) found a baby mag and used mini mode voucher and it took off £2 ( 20% of full price) so £3 to pay for a lovely supersoft dresing gown x

Waiting until tomorrow to brave the humiliating voucher:o

    Sorry for the long post
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Popped into Boots in Kings Lynn this morning and they have (or had at 10am) loads of the petal eye palletts for £5.38. I got 2 of those with perkies for 38p and 2 nail file sets for free with me remaining perkies. Also spent some points today on reduced evening primrose 44p and toothpaste 38p, and some razor blades with a free razor and collected my 6th meal deal, which was free, so got quite a lot for spending 76p!

I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or not about not getting any mailings or decent ACM vouchers as I really need to lay off spending in Boots. I now have no perkies to use and no vouchers so I can steer clear for the time being!

Off to London in 3 weeks for the weekend with OH, so hopefully will be able to do some more shopping then. Have been scouring boards for deals for London, and fancied doing 'touristy' things rather than just shopping this time!

If anyone has any ideas on things I can surprise OH with I would be grateful (this will probably be our holiday this year as he has been made redundant), especially if there are any good deals.

TIA, and well done to everyone who managed to get the humiliating vouchers and other No7 vouchers and bargains!!
