    Hi everyone :)

I am just getting into Bootsing. Can someone tell me though please what a "Perkie" is?

Also, I today bought some of the Age Rewind Intensive Serum on the three for two offer. They only took £10 off and not £15 as I expected them to do, bringing the total to £24.20. As I had purchased other items I did not realise until I got home.

I also find that I have within those serums two styles of bottles, one style has a lid and the other does not, it just has a protective cover over the pump. Has anyone else noticed this? I was concerned at first in case I was missing two lids, LOL, but presume, as there is a protective cover, that this is the new style?

    thanks,

    McFilly :)

Hi - it's what we were calling the last voucher that Boots were giving instore. It was a £5 off No7 or Ruby & Millie and it was purple in colour. They are not being given out anymore but do not expire until tomorrow.

Re the Age Rewind Serum - I would take them back and say that you were not given the correct discount and get them to check whether it is only being given on an 'old' style bottle. Other people have reported getting different discounts on different tills but should really be the same whichever till you buy on. If needs be get them to refund it and buy it back and ensure that the bottle designs are all the same!!!

I'm not into that look sorry xxx :D

I was kidding ANGEL50;) I don't like that look either:rotfl: I can't believe I'm still laughing after what just happened to me. Will tell you all a bit later when I've calmed down:(

high street kensington - big store

large clearance section at the back of store brimming with No7 bargains. Wish I'd saved my perkies now:rolleyes: I got a spring eye pallete though for 63p, after perkie, so I'm happy with that:D

loads of face creams, too many to mention all around the £5 mark. No7 xmas gift sets (nail and lip gloss) I think these are from xmas 07 though, but I could be wrong. All 75% off. No7 trinket, lippies, suncreams, fake tan, eye shadows. Loads of stuff, but I can't remember them all. Anyway get down there if you have lots of perkies to redeem.

Also, lots of MF GWP on MF counter;)

will be back later to tell you what happened to me. I'm still in shock. I think it might be a good time to give up bootsing for me. Well, after I've fired off a letter of complaint to CS...

They had the spring eye palletes in local boots store for three pounds......if I buy two, will it take off the last lonely perkie that I have left in my bag? Then I can give them to dd and her friend.
  • Just been to Boots in Cov City Centre and bought:-

3 x Pretty Polly Ultra Sheer Tights (Natural) - £3.50 each to 88p
    2 x Boots Nearly Natural Hold ups - £5.00 each to £1.25
Pretty Polly Black Luxury Collection Tights - £8.00 to £2.00

total - 6 pairs of tights - went through at 3 for 2 and total to pay £5.01

I used an ACM voucher for 100 points on hosiery and also used ACM voucher to claim a free Boots re-usable bag and earned a new £2 voucher and bought a Bourjois Nail Polish removed - £2.44 - used £2 off voucher - total 44p. Not a bad shop!
Mummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x

Buy 3, No7 is on 342 at the moment so you'll get one free :D

If the SA won't let you use your perkie voucher because the items are reduced (some won't) then buy 2 and another full priced No7 item such as wipes, you'll still get 342 and will be able to use your voucher.

Thanks for the advice Angie, I will do that :)

I don't want to sound paranoid, LOL, but has anyone else bought this version without a lid, I just want to be sure that it is a new design, as I was planning giving two of them as presents, and don't want them to be incomplete.

Also, before this transaction I got a 200 points off when you spent over £25 from the machine, so at least, as I had other purchases too, this 200 points got added on ;)

<snipped> A quick question to anyone that's actually used the Humiliating Powders lol - which one's the best for very fair skinned peeps - Island Glow, Perky Peach, or Dandy Pink? Tia x

From memory at the time of the Great Highlighter Flurry last year, the "Perfect Peach" is for average skin tone, the "Dandy Pink" is for lighter tones or if you wanted a flush blush and the "Island Glow" is good for darker skins or those who already have a bit of a tan but would like a bit of highlighter/sparkle.

Sally - spill the beans on HSK!!
