I managed to pick up a 'Humiliating Powder' today and it lived up to its name.:o
The first till said No! What a surprise!
But the lovely SA could see that I had bought No7 items, so she directed me to another till,
to try it.......the No7 till.
My receipt showed I had done the 3 4 2 deal and used a Perkie. I thought I would get told that it didn't work,
as I had used a Perkie and had bought reduced items.
But the SA was very helpful and tried really hard to get the voucher to work.
We trudged back and forth between tills, until she could try no more.
So off we went to the senior No7 SA! (Aaaarghhhhh!!!).
Who turned out to be a complete sweetie, saying that I was 5th person today who had the voucher that wouldn't scan.
"Nevermind she said, I will over ride it for you as you have bought No7 items and I can't understand why it doesn't scan".:D
Panic over. But all that effort...For the only colour they had left...David Dickenson (Thats Island Glow by the way).
Oh well, it might be fine with a tan...A very dark one.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:And truth be told I miss you...And truth be told I'm lying0 -
Evening all :hello:Had a lovely family free (ish) shop, they had been warned not to wind me upand stay clear:rotfl:ACM still giving me lousy vouchers so went and had a nosey at no7 when a lovely lady asked me if I wanted 2 perkies as they had been her purse for ages! I could have kissed her as mimi had helped use my last one! Anyway managed to find 3 no7 lip lacquer necter colour, only colour that was reduced, had signs up saying this and only one shade of the lipstick which was cappachino I think again signs said this. Found a lovely sa at the pharmacy counter who put them through 342 - perkie so £4.75to pay:T:T Then got a bourjois nailfile .93p to pay and tweezers the same then found pretty polly legs bronzer stickered at £2.50 but that went through at £1.13, bonus! Then the till gave me a survey to do:jnever ever had one of these so was really chuffed, then I remembered I had left DH at the acm , I went back and he had printed 23 entries to the comp for the bag:rotfl:I had to stop him so we could leave!!! So sorry for long post was am still overjoyed at survey, no I didn't win!!, HTH Teri x0

Hello peeps,
Well my Boots trip went pear shaped with the illuminating powder today - but no matter, I feel much better as I have a lovely chilled glass of wolfblass white in hand:beer:
I didn't really want to go out this afty but couldn't resist using the no7 illuminationg powder from the acm and my last perkie. I decided that I would buy stuff I wanted to take advantage of the two vouchers but still try and save - only I didn't bank on the flipping, flaming, illuminating powder scanning at half price £5:rolleyes:
So I bought;
1 x no7 brow pencil @ £9.80
1 x no7 softening foot balm £9.30 (still under £10 so should have been the free item)
1 x Perky Peach illuminating powder @ £5 and not £10 as on the sel
also some bits
1 x dove deo @ £1.29
1 x pack of reduced condoms - Mates variety pack if anyones interested including three strawberry flavoured ones@ £1.50
So instead of one of the first two items being free the illuminationg powder went through on the 342 taking off only £5 instead of £10 but, the free illuminating voucher took of another £5.00, perkie £5, 50p dove.
Ended up paying £11.39 instead of the £6.39 I was planning but to look on the bright side I still saved and got some reduced condoms! So I will have nice soft feet, lovely peachy skin, tailored eyebrows and a fun night in!:rotfl:
Anyway - am off to make real chips cooked in lard with fried eggs fried in beef dripping and some more wine!0 -
Coincidence
:rotfl: ... just been using some no7 P+P handcream + as I was using it, the Boots advert for 342 mix n match on skincare came on
:j :rotfl:

Anyway, to recap, this glitch is for a Gillette Shaving gift set, Price is St Albans was 19.56, but scanned in a smaller store at £4.87.
'Gillette Fusion Power Stealth Gift set contains:- 1 x Gillette Fusion Power Stealth Razor
- 1 x Gillette Fusion Power Blades x 3
- 1 x Gillette Fusion HydraGel Sensitive Skin 75ml
- 1 x Gillette Fusion HydraSoothe After Shave Balm 25ml
- 1 x Duracell Battery'
So have a look when you are out today using up your perkies. Happy Hunting!
I saw one of these today in Milton Keynes and it had DISC on the SEL but the price was £19.58 so I thought I might try it on the SS tills to see if it went through for less. Unfortunately it went through for the SEL price of £19.58. As the box was the last one on the shelf and was a bit battered and cellotaped up I'm not too worried I couldn't get it.. Guess it's not reduced in all stores....
Many thanks to those that replied to my post about MK :A It made my trip alot easier!! I only wish I had saved more than 3 perkies for the No7 accessories as I wanted them all (what was left of them - no glasses case or fold away shopping bag). In the end I got the moisture gloves, eyelash curlers (for DD no2) and the photo keyring holder which incidently I thought was lovely cause it has 3 spaces for me to put a small pic of each of my 3 DD's... I thought the No7 bags were lovely too - just couldn't decide which 3 things to get!! BTW Rats09 'Yes' Luton is my local
I also got the Bourjois nail varnish remover with the new till spit for 44p (definately wouldn't pay £2.44 for it cause it is tiny!!)

Just been reading backwards again and read your post Sally06. I really hope you are ok... :grouphug:
Please let us know what happened....
Your posts are an inspiration and joy to read so I really hope your 'experience' hasn't put you off Bootsing forever...
Take care x0 -

Hi
This looks like it will only work properly on items less than £5 if the illuminating high lights is found to be £5 ..
E.G...
illuminating high lights £5
no7 item = less than £5
no7 item = less than £5
- 342 = £10 left
- £10 humiliating voucher = nothing to pay, not even a perkie = all free
Only my idea, but I love working things out :j
Good luck all in trying.

Hello everyone!
Just wondering about the reduced tights that people have been mentioning - do they have reduced SEL? All tights and socks seem to be full price in my local Boots - but was wondering whether it might be worth taking a few to the SS tills to see if they scan cheaper? I didn't realise till today that I actually need a pair of teal tights - even though will probably never leave the house wearing them. Might give me some street cred in my DDs eyes though!
And also, as I am new to all this Bootsing lark, would you more experienced Bootsers have any idea as to whether Mr B does the No 7 £5 off Perkie more then once in a year? Always looking for ways of making up prizes for our school fetes and think I could make up some gifts using them. Used them this time to buy stuff for pamper hampers for family.
TIA - hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
(OT - but jut wanted to thank Mimi for making me aware (on a different board) of the 6 free cookies at Millies when you buy 6 via a voucher from their website. Off to get mine tomorrow (yum!), along with free Easter egg from Borders (Telegraph). Diet will have to wait till next week!!)0 -
Was at Boots this afternoon and purchased 2 x Elizabeth Arden toners for dry skin on clearance at £5 and got 1000 points as its n offer wyb 2 items. The other EA items were all £12 on clearance.0
