Also MINERAL foundations....can anybody recommend one for fair skin??
not sure wether to go for one of these istead of EL double wear?
I have the No 7 mineral foundation and it is nice. I have the lightest shade but you would need to check with the No7 SA to tell you which is best for your skin tone. It doesn't contain talc so it is good if you have any drier patches of skin.0 -
Hi Everyone,
Had a strange day today some bits good, some not so good.
I headed off 4 the bus = very windy .. brrr .. it came 25 mins late as it was a replacement bus, as the 1st one broke down + then 10 mins into my 40 minute bus journey, that one also broke down. I had been talking to an older lady 20 mins before the bus came + I said I am not meant to get this bus + I should of stayed + finished my cuppa + got the next one.. sooo very true that was lol. :rotfl:
Anyway went to Boots + there was loads of ..
med body butters £1.84
med body scrubs £1.84
med body washes 98p
but I didn't buy any of them,
I did buy the med skin treats toiletry bags with 6 med items in, = clearance £3.67 each... there was only 2 x dirty ones, so I asked lovely SA if there was any clean ones, cos there were for presents.. so she gave me last 4 out of stock room + probably put other 2 back on shelf.
Walkers crisps 24p clearance
used perkies on ...
moisturising gloves = 87p
sumptous bath £2.80
2 x moisture lipstick £4.65
= ½ price, with a sign saying these are not to be used with NO7 vouchers, so off I headed to normal manned tills + used perkies on them = no beeps... one of the lippies had my nick-name on it = angel05 ( so close to my name on here lol )
So I used all of my 4 perkies up, but what I really wanted to get was the NO7 purse + also the NO7 credit card holder, but none anywhere I have been to have had them stocked... + my purse I have has just died, as had too many cards, vouchers + change in.
I saw no free vinchy bags anywhere in the shops I have been in + today there was no NO7 GWP for me to try my daydreaming combo on lol
I did get 3 x £2 pooeys, but didn't use them, as nothing suitable for me to buy in the shop I was in.
Angel x:hello:

As well as the beeping of the humiliating voucher I also tried using my 50 points on Boots 24hr protection roll on anti perspirant ACM voucher and it beeped too! I think someone (sorry I cant remember who it was now!) said they thought this ACM voucher didnt work on the cheaper roll on at 69p which is what I got yesterday so today I got the roll on which was £1.09 and guess what - is that the sound of a beep I hear?! YES!! My extra points had to be added manually! Seems it doesnt matter which price of roll on you buy there is a chance the till will beep. Just wanted to warn anyone else using this in case the SA doesnt notice and you end up not getting your points!! HTH
Cant seem to find the No.17 mascara to use my £1 mailing couponwent to 3 different Boots aand in each one that section of the stand was empty. Not to worry gives me an excuse to keep visiting Boots! :rotfl:

I got two no7 Stay Perfect Lip Lacquers today for £4.75 each (free with a perkie). They were marked £9.50 so the SA kindly indulged me and did a price check (though I think she was bit doubtful they would be on sale, lol). Two of the three came up at £4.75: Plumberry and Nectar. The one that *wasn't* on sale was Sugar Muave (I think that was the name).
I also grabbed some humiliating powder, totally forgetting its nickname and why it was called that, lol. Of course the voucher beeped. The SA couldn't figure it out (I handed it over before my Perkie so they couldn't claim that's I couldn't use a second voucher). I told him if it would be a problem I would just leave the powder, but he just stuck it in the bag, lol.
Any idea how long these lip lacquers will be good if set aside for awhile? I'd like to wait a year or two to get to them as I have several glosses/lipsticks in play right now.0 -
Does anybody know if there is any vouchers around in acm etc for estee lauder/ premium beauty?
Sometimes theres an extra points promo on.
I'm desperate for foundation, I've got it tipped upside down at the moment!
I love the EL double wear, its as though you have nailed it on in the morning!!!

An EL SA told me there would be a free gift with purchase in April if you can hold out that long? Maybe you could check with your local rep and see if they can give you one of those little sample bottles to keep you going till then? I use the EL double wear too, best I can find and i have tried just about every foundation going. I like (ahem..need) the full coverage look which is why I stick with the double wear.
I've got really pale skin, and even the lightest shade of EL is really too dark but again, best I have been able to find. Don't know much about mineral foundations, but I think No7 do one although I find their products not great for fair skin.0 -
can anyone help me in my s&g problem? i've still got to use the £2 off voucher from the grab bag before the 31st and am kicking myself that i didnt do this when it was 1/3 off!
anyways, i'm thinking of getting something from theire new facial care range but i'm wondering whether the voucher will be accepted on it as the range is new? any ideas??
or anything else i'm better of spending it on??
thanks a lot!
The S&G facial skincare is 342 at the moment, so if you got 3 of these then it would be 3 x £3.91 = £11.73 -£3.91(342) = £7.82 - £2.00(voucher) = £5.82 for all three :T .
