    Hi all

Convinced my oh i needed to drive 40 mile round trip to a bigger boots to get lots of no7 very cheaply, only to find acm gave me no no7 vouchers  tried with oh's card and that didn't work either.

Also with regards to free 1000 points the acm said

    WIN

£10 worth of points with the advantage card.
    thats 1000 points!

sorry the competition will not be available until 30th March. Please try again next time you're in a kiosk store. competition closes 19th May 2009.

    what does that mean?

my oh's card said the same.

is anyone else getting this from the acm?
    tia

Yup Tia my DD and myself both got that, rubbishly vouchers too, no highlights or anything else much.

Got two perfect colour lip laquers and a no grains scrub with one purkie and 342 paid £4.70 ish

and 2 bath soaks and body lotion(cant remember whats its called) and paid £12 with purkie and 3 4 2.

DD got a lip laquer paid with perkie

    all with lovely No7 SA

and a limited edition lip thing and reduced nail varnish with another purkie, nothing to pay.

Tried to get limited edition eyeshadow pallet on a different til and SA said no way before even trying, amazing how different people are when it comes to vouchers, the No7 SA couldnt do enough to work out what was best, and was getting really confused with her till, but laughed all the while and when lip laquers came up full price she said "not having that" and over rode it ... bless her !!

now all purkies spent, not a bad days bootsing and starting to gain confidence, shame nothing much happening now Im getting the hang of it.

Anyhow I think this is the last of my Bootsing for a while, until I get a new hairstyle and hair colour, lose a lot of weight and have a face lift so am not recognised there again! :o;)
    *snipped... sorry*

I know how you feel - I'm definitely wearing a different coloured coat (and possibly a hat :rotfl: ) when I go to use up my last perkie... anyone got some funny glasses and a wig? I want to try 2 R&M make-up brushes get free purple cosmetic bag AND use a perky!! I'm glad the voucher is a pooey this time - I have sooooooo much (no7... lol) makeup I need nothing more for months so they may have forgotten me if I stay away till may when the current till spit ends... :rotfl:

Well done on getting the reduced camera :T - I only managed to get the sanctuary travel mini thing for £1.71 (instead of £3.43 written on the reduced ticket) as I grumped to the nearest boots employee about them being different prices reduced in different stores. It turned out she was the manager and reduced it for me! :T :D

Best shop ever in boots today, I had 8 perkies to use, gave 1 to a lady at the no7 counter who was buying some No7 stuff.

    Then managed to get:

stay perfect lipsticks reduced to £4.50 x 2 so free

Petal Eye palette £5.38 so 38p to pay x 3

    Petal lip tint £4.00 x 2
    so free

Then I saw someones Advantage card on the floor, I handed it in to the No7 girls.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

had ok shop locally today ,probably could've come away with paying less and getting more but after reading other bootsers post and the hassle they had i really couldn't be bothered.i was one of the lucky ones who managed to get the glycolic peel vouchers.
glycolic peel kit £17.60 - 1/2 price £8.80 used blinkie so £3.80 to pay

tried to use free highlights voucher but till not having any of it.
then used a different SA bought no7 mini brush sets £7.83 and took a chance on the highlighter again, till beeped but kind supervisor over-rode so went through as free, handed in a blinkie and the SA said it wouldn't work,i said it had for me before :A (little white lie),supervisor said it should do as it was a different voucher to the free one(so i think you may be able to use a number of different vouchers in 1 transaction as long as they're not the same iykwim)blinkie went through fine so £2.83 to pay

last perkie went on my 5th no7 file and buff £4.89 but free with perkie
i know some clever peeps on here could probably got a lot more for a lot less with different combos, but i am somewhat side tracked with excitment coz its the next mid season sale tomorrow:j

.... I'm sat here, catching up on the thread, and making myself dizzy with all these 3for 1/4 for 2 or whatever it is combinations with the No7 and the Humiliating Powder - but I don't actually WANT the powder - I still have several from the glitch this time last year. - and anyway, I haven't been shopping so I don't even know if the munificent ACM will give me a voucher!:rotfl:

So I should be concentrating on what's best to do with the 3 for 2 and my remaining purkies......

But the lure of a potential free (even if unwanted) product is sooo strong.....

    Wasnt much at Meadowhall today.

Saw some sanctuary gift sets at £3.43 and Med stuff down to around £1.50. And No7 clearance was black purse GWPs, aftersun and 3 of the spring eye palettes.

Greedy woman in front of me had loads of reduced Mediteranean Bags which i was annoyed about :(

Pleased though as i got 2 packs of Pampers Nappy Pants for £4, instead of £6 a pack or 2 for £8.
Had 2x £2 off any Pampers mailing vouchers, and so used one per pack, bringing it to £4 for the two packs. :D

well no no7 acm vouchers for me so it made my shop a lot less complicated lol

I spyed two scrunched up perkies sitting on a shelf, would be rude to waste them so i got 2 of the lip lacquers for free :j..so thank you whoever left them, poor misguided souls

With my last perkie i got

    R&M Eyeliner brush £5.50
    Collection 2000 mascara £2.93

used perkie and 500 on R&M and 100 on any mascara

    spent £3.43 and got 600 points :D

I off to Drake's Circus, Plymouth tomorrow. Haven't been since before Christmas, so quite excited at being able to trawl around a decent size Boots. Sad I know.

Can anyone advise where the clearance section is and what bargains I should be looking for? Many thanks

I hate to disappoint you but since they moved there is never anything interesting there. It was much better when it was the old Boots. Strange but true.
