Tried to use the no 7 line lift (?) voucher again today, but it said conditions not met. I had meet all the conditions though, it had to be bought with a skin care item and a spend of £15, I was buying it with the glycolic peel which is £17* SA tried to say that the glycolic peel was not skincare ???? and then she said maybe it was because the glycolic peel was in a box??? :rotfl:snipped... :D
Love it! They don't half come up with some good ones :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It must be frustrating for the SA's though, Mr B should just make sure the tills are programmed to accept the vouchers as I'm sure those girls have better things to do than get into wrangles with customers. I've never come across a No7 voucher yet that doesn't beep, the GWP points are the worst ones.

i went today to get the springtime blusher as i really wanted it,but they only had the spring eyeshadow left

There's none of the spring blusher in Maidstone, either.

The other day, I posted here that there were official signs up in Maidstone, Chequers Centre branch, saying that if you bought 2 Elizabeth Arden products, one to be a perfume or skincare, you would get £10 worth of points added to your card. Also there was a bigger sign, possibly made by the branch, saying that if you bought 3 Elizabeth Arden products (again, one to be a perfume or skincare) you would get an 8hr handcream free. I guessed this was because they had run out of the bags which were previously on offer.

I didn't realise the implications of this at the time, but they have created a glitch in doing this.

Today, I bought Elizabeth Arden 'Pretty' perfume £26, and 2 x EA High Shine lip gloss (was £11.75 each, reduced to £7.83 each). Not only did I get the £10 worth of points for having bought 2 items, but I also got the free handcream, and because the handcream is skincare I have automatically been given another £10 worth of points :T

I also got No7 lipsticks and a lip laquer all at 1/2 price and 3 for 2, some Bourjois tweezers, and an R&M i-define brush.

    I used:

    £2 voucher against the tweezers,
250 point WYS £30 ACM voucher
150 point WYS £20 mailing voucher
    My last perky
    and my double points voucher

Total points gained = 2652 and a new tillspit

In another purchase I got the Amazon Forest skin treats bag for £3.67, which I think is a great deal, and the Amazon Brazil Nut and Vanilla Scrub for £1.84. Earned 20 points and another tillspit. They had quite a bit of the Amazon stuff reduced, at the end of one of the shelves, but all the bags had brown marks on them - fine if you're buying for yourself, as the products are worth it, but no good for a gift unless you put the items into different packaging.

hi every one, ive also got one of the highlighting powder vouchers that i am debating whether or not to use. am i right in thinking that they are not going through the till properely??

    tia

Seems like another one of Boots anomalies. I asked the No7 SA to try mine again today. She said it would work, as it worked for herself yesterday, but not with anything reduced. So I took the Humiliating Powder voucher (thanks again for that rukicruki LOL) to her with the powder but with a reduced Spring Eye Pallette, because that's what I wanted :D

Till said no, and another SA said it should be 3 for 2 anyway and to grab something else - so I grabbed a nail varnish. Till still said no.

The lovely SA tried it with a full priced nail varnish, and the till still said no, so I think it's safe to say that in most stores, it's a non-starter. The girl overrode it and I ended up with the Humiliating Powder (:D) and the Spring palette for 38p after using the perkie.

Doubt that'll help anyone either so I won't even bother with the 'hth' :rotfl:

can anyone help me in my s&g problem? i've still got to use the £2 off voucher from the grab bag before the 31st and am kicking myself that i didnt do this when it was 1/3 off!
anyways, i'm thinking of getting something from theire new facial care range but i'm wondering whether the voucher will be accepted on it as the range is new? any ideas??
or anything else i'm better of spending it on??
    thanks a lot!

I used the £2 off the facial wipes which is classed as skincare when S&G was 1/3 off, so should work fine with other items in the range..

No sign of any down in Bristol - we don't get anything good here!!!!

You'll have to move up here :D and face redundancies or reduced hours ;)

Finally got rid of the £5 moc on Roc (I'm sure SS or geordie_lass could fit that into a poem LOL) but this is how I got rid of it:

    1 x Roc Wipes @ £6.49
    1 x No7 Wipes @ £6.40
    1 x S&G The Fab Pore @ £5.86 but classed as 0.00

Handed over the Roc Moc (lol), then a £5 perkie, and the final total was: £2.89 (because 342 on skincare kicked in)

Hth, because I know that some peeps like to see shops in print - if that makes sense
