    hmmm..I tried the beta, and it was like 7 but with more bells & whistles...dunno whether to bother just yet with it or not :confused:

    RIK - got any particular issue in mind ?? I only tried the beta for a week but didn't notice anything really untoward...or do you mean "have they made it more like firefox yet ??" ;)

  • wow IE8 has almost some of the features as IE7 + IEPro (freeware addon) ... which are themselves not unique in the interweb browsing world

    They don't have an API, which immidiately leaves them miles and miles behind Firefox.

    That would make sense if there wasn't 'No Add-ons' mode for Internet Explorer..

    I mean I know of a ton of people that have tried it in Beta form with all sorts of problems (Just not working as it should basically)

    Needless to say I WONT be installing it for a few months as its pretty much guaranteed to still have security issues even if it DOES run properly
