I don't see why you should have to tell him what you are about to do.

If what he is doing is wrong, he knows it is wrong. You're not (unless I'm wrong) his mum, you shouldn't have to tell him what to do.

unfortunately some people are just inconsiderate.

Fair enough, but you need to realise that if he gets pulled for this he will probably realise who's responsible.;)

You don't have to tell him, but excepting the op's last post, don't you thing it is better to give someone the opportunity to sort an issue than shop them to the authorities..//?

Or lets put it another way, would you sooner shoot someone in the back or face to face

but he's already been told about something else?

I'd run him over rather than shoot him. bitterly ironic.;)
