looks good, might have to purchase one
  • Be aware that it's a graded item
  • which means what??
  • Can anyone help me with the delivery cost?

When I add 2, it shows £7.45 delivery, but when I go through to the checkout it changes the delivery to £16.35?? Anyone know why this is? Would like to order them, but £16.35 is very steep for delivery!

What does graded mean? My Dad has been hinting that he'd like one of these!

    Ahh, just found this on their site;

    Graded Products
Item condition unless specifically stated otherwise, all products are graded products. This clarification includes a range of products such as:
    • Products that have been on display for demonstration purposes at high street retailers
    • Products that have been returned by mail order /Internet under their “no quibble “ 14 or 28 day guarantee.
    • Products that have been fully reconditioned
    • Factory Seconds These products are not used but may have been taken out of the original box.

All these products have been thoroughly tested by qualified engineers, and re-packaged to a high level of quality. As a result some packaging may be slightly distressed, but rest assured the product is fully working and is backed by a no quibble 6 month warranty. In some cases products may show very minor signs of residue but this is only because the items have been tested to make sure they are in perfect working order. The item may have cosmetic marks on them, which means they do not pass the manufactures quality control and cannot be sold as a perfect new item. They are then classed as a graded item.

These are awful, I am sorry to say.
I bought my dh one last christmas and it had to go back as each time he used it the water seemed less hot. By the end of the month it was barely tepid. We accepted another (the theory is great) and that did the same thing.
They look fab and I loved the idea but it just was not a viable product.
Great price though if you enjoy your drinks on the cooler side :)

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
We have one. Twelve months old next week. Best thing we have bought in a long time.

Our son bought one and had to send it back for a replacement, water not heating up enough.

    Replacement working fine.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
