Today's PAD is £9.95
Just wondering, does anyone have their bank account with Lloyds? I have a problem with my online banking, can't see any transactions after the 25th March. I log in every day at least once and can see the available balance changing but no individual transactions? Called them up yesterday and they could only see as much as I saw  Anyway, they have passed it on to their IT dept but I think I had some paypal money coming in but not sure how much as I can't see....LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

Havng checked my bank account and still awaiting a few invoices to come in, it looks extremely bare! Therefore, my PAD today (purely because I MUST pay something!) is a whopping 15p into a sealed pot!! I found it in my car!0

Hi Panambi
I bank with Lloyds, fortunately all mine seems ok, I checked my statement and all seems fine, todays transfers and what not are all showing *sadly*
I hate that they dont have faster payment service, now it could be my imagination but they DID introduce it for about 3 days and then as fast as it came it went.
Now I have to set up transfers the day before as they never get taken till the next day.
Oddly though my DD for Green flag was due to go today, everything else went just not that and ive never had a problem with it before.Just hope they debit tomorrow so as not to mess things up for me

Depends on individual circumstances. Personally, I like to keep a few thousand credit available in case my van needs a major repair such as engine/gearbox. That's the only reason though.
Apart from a couple of regular small paynments (for file storage and piggyback phone provider) I haven't spent anything on a credit card in a while. I did need a largish cc cheque for my tax bill a while back and for essential work equipment but apart from that, I've been buying nothing unless I have the money for it.
I've no problem with buying essntial work stuff on credit if there's no choice because it's to allow me to continue earning.
So it depends on your circumstances really. If I was employed on PAYE and had no vehicle, I would probably close down accounts myself or voluntarily reduce my limits.0 -
