    awww thanks!!!

ok so today i only moved £1 - this is just to savings account but technically everything in there will be going towards the car maintenance for example MOT, insurance and Tax which is all due later this year.

Shall i put something in my signature?

Hope you all have a great day!!!

I don't have a signature but when I started on here I noticed that a couple of people update their monthly PaD's on theirs so I'm going to wait until the 13th May before I put anything down on my signature!

    Welcome to all the newcomers.

This PADing has been the most successful way I've found to tackle debt.
It allows me to chip away daily what I can afford, rather than committing a bigger sum once a month and underestimating 'just in case'.

Many many thanks to all the participants of the thread for inspiration and example setting

    £20.00 for me today

May I ask how you've all found PADing with a virgin card. My tesco cc 0% is coming to an end so I need to balance transfer elsewhere and Virgin are doing the best current 0% deal but some of the reviews for managing your account are dire.

Can you PAD online every day ? small amounts ?

I read they only have a 14 day window to pay your monthly amount. Does this mean PADing is impossible.

I would appreciate all comments regarding using a 0% Virgin card for PADing

    Many thanks

  • Mornin guys!!

Quick question before I confimr my pad...

I normally pay £30 to barclaycard every month when bill comes in. Paid £37 today, does that mean my pad is £7 or the difference between the min payment (£22.82) and £37 which would mean my pad is £14.18?? I'm just wondering so I keep a running total and I don't want to cheat!

There are no hard and fast rules about this. Some people don't count the minimum payments, some do. Some don't count debts owed to the Inland Revenue, some do.
The only rule I set myself is that I won't count money twice i.e. I won't put money into a pot and count it - then count it again when I actually pay a debt with it. I do choose to count the whole of a CC payment and all loan DDs.

Thank you for that, I had decided to only count the £7 as I would normally pay £30 every month so I thought the best thing to do was call the £7 my pad! x
