evening all! hello to today's new PADers.

    PAD today is ****10.00****
hope you're feeling better soon danko. sounds like you're not at the same surgery as me (westbrook) - when i ring in the morning, they usually get the triage nurse to ring back within about an hour to have a chat and assess if you actually need an appt - i always seem to get one when i speak to her. the receptionist literally just takes down the info & passes it on. hope you have more luck with them tomorrow x
Thanks for all the lovely kind wishes everyone! :D You mushy lot but I loves you all really ;) :rotfl: Be warned though, come too close and you mighty get splatted with sneeze and yuck juice! :rotfl:

Same place as you tomtom but didn't recognise the lady on the phone today (not that I call all the time!!:rotfl:). She said I had to call back tomorrow to speak to the triage nurse. I think I said in a previous post, I've never had a problem before with appointments so maybe they're really in-undated or she just was playing brutal lady and saying no to everyone  Try try again tomorrow! :D

:j:T Fab PADs coming in today! Well done everyone! :T :jAnd welcome to all newbies! Can you tell all I've done today is watch carp on TV and scrole the t'interweb! :D Same again tomorrow! :D
    xx

    Hi fab guys.

Sorry to hear your poorly Danko, hope you're on the mend soon. Well done though on clearing your Egg cc. :j As a wise man once said of your particular credit card, "The only good egg in this world is the one that comes from a hen." Well, i'm not absolutely certain a wise man once said this, but it's the sort of thing they say isn't it. :p
Thanks bigbum! I do love your MSE name though! :rotfl: I shall be celebrating tomorrow and then onwards and upwards for clearing the other 3! I'm aiming for the smaller payments as they clear up more money in the long run to throw at the other barstewards :D I think we need to add in that quote (for Terri of course) is that choccy eggs are good also! :rotfl: Hope everything's going well on your PAD journey? :p

same place! ah - then it must be the double BH that's done it, danko. we discovered the joys of the NHS over may bank hols last year when DS2 fell and split his face open (with no disrespect to all the hard working doctors, nurses etc - they do their best i'm sure, but the system certainly wasn't working well when we encountered it). we went to a&e, then alder hey (three times over 3 days) and they ended up doing...nothing. at. all. because the wound had scabbed over. (3 days later most wounds would!). so he now has a lovely scar on his chin and lip. ah well. it could have been a lot worse...anyway ramble over! off to bed now x

    Morning all!

£5 PAD to Barclaycard for me today - the payments from the weekend have finally shown up on Barclaycards online banking and my balance before this payment is now only £325, a big improvement on when I joined this thread and it was over £1,000 :j

The end is in sight for Mr Barclaycard :D
