BTW - is it Harringey or Haringey.
It's the London Borough of Haringey. This includes the Harringay ward. BTW SteveT, I hope you are keeping your five properties in good spec. By the look of a lot of the rental properties, most the BTL landlords couldn't give a proverbial about keeping the place looking nice. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -
Thanks, I received some bad news last night and should have just switched off. I wasn't in a good state of mind to go on a forum.
I only thought it was you because that jerk came on soon after you left (ie a timing thing) but soon after I realised that it was NOT you. I could tell that he is much less intelligent and civilised than you. To date that ID has only posted 10 posts all to me last night. I have both edited and deleted my posts that refer to you. There were 2 clues to his real ID:
He obviously has very low esteem (as he made a big point about me saying that I was a surveyor, when in reality there is no big deal about it, except to him). In fact about 90% of the surveyors I know would rather do something else (some already have).
He referred to and posted a graph from that housepricecrash website and a quick look at your previous posts shows that you haven't mentioned that website.
I think I know who it is, but as I was out of order too (with you) there isn't any point in chasing it and in any case I am now chilled out. I actually feel a bit sorry for him.
Thanks for graciously accepting my appology.
Too much info in this thread about yourself and future dealings Steve.
Dont forget btl peeps are despised here along with anyone else that seems to have a made a life or been successful in life.
Too much pent up jealousy in here, dont take the bait,or being dragged down.Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0 -

I do, as I believe (and hope) if you hand over the property in good condition tenants are more likely to look after it.0 -

Thanks, yes, my wife keeps telling me that also. I need to remember any jerk with a keyboard can have a go. In fact I was a bit of a jerk myself to MrDT last night as you can see from this thread.
EDIT: and guess what, one comes along the very next post0 -
It is easily verified by the RICS that I was a chartered surveyor (as I retired early a few years ago in my 40's) get a life, I already own 5 properties which again can be verified by the land registry
We all bow down to you sir.
But seriously, this is really explaining why you keep telling everyone they are wrong about anything falling. Your asset value is tanking. No wonder you were against the change in mortgages too when your holding out to whip the houses out from under families feet and buy them up as an investment.0 -

If you read the thread fully you will realise that I was only answering someone who was saying that I was lying about being a surveyor, god knows why there isn't anything special about being one (as I have also stated), ditto the properties that I own.
I think prices will fall another 15-20% and have always said that, check my previous posts, I think you will find that I was saying a fall 35-40% from peak 6 months ago (I forget exactly when)0 -

Who are you, I think I know and I suspect others will too, what do you think dopetester (I know it's not you, but I reckon you would guess who this is?)
dopetester rofl. :rotfl:
It wasn't me of course who came on with a new forum account - but that doesn't mean I agree with you on property outlook.
My focus is on the pure-discussion of all the main issues affecting house prices, and I try not to get involved in personal about it, or deliberately get in to arguments.
I understand how it can be easy to get a bit too heated in forum discussion though, if we're tired or something, misinterpret things, and have done so myself. I knew something was a bit out-of-place with your posts last night Steve, but back to normal good-self with your calm decency to explain it and resolve it, and good to see DT offer honest understanding.0
