    hi guys,

Just found this Forum and thought it would be a great tool to help me. I joined slimming world last Thursday, i have decided to follow the extra easy plan. Im finding it really easy to follow, they only way i usually loose weight is by starving myself so eating so much is a little unusual.
Have weighed myself thismorning and was very dishearted to see i dont apear to lost anything yet and i swear i am following the plan to the t!!!
suppose i will have to wait and see what the scales at the club tomorrow night say but please keep your fingers crossed for me - i would be so dis-heartened if i havent lost!!! xx

My first recommendation is that you put your home scales in the loft, out of sight! They will not be anywhere near as accurate as the SW scales, which automatically recalibrte and are worth an awful lot of money.

Secondly, if you have followed the plan 100% you will have lost weight. However, using the EE plan, if you find that the weight isn't coming off as fast as you hoped, it is a good idea to add a third of a plate of superfree veg to your meals (these are the ones listed on the yellow pages in your Food Optimising book).

No crossed fingers needed, just committment to the plan :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

8 pack, chilled, Eat Smart Pork Sausages £1.99 (the frozen ones aren't free)

On SW thread in Ivillage there are some reviews on Joes and a list of all syns on all sausages but I can't post the links - they come up as something else!
    http://messageboards.ivillage.co.uk/iv-ukdfslimming/?ctx=512
See towards the bottom for sausages.

These ones (plus all on Joe's sausage website http://www.joessausages.co.uk/Results3.asp?Category=13 ) :D
Oooh plus some of the quorn ones - should be on the iVillage link.

Has anyone tried the SW Three Bean Chilli (it was in the Oct 2008 Slimming World magazine but I think Ive seen it elsewhere too). I fancy having it with baked potatoes for tea.

ooh cool thats useful, thanks. when i did it in a stirfry it seemed to crumble up loads - is that normal? or am i doing something wrong????

It's normal, it is really crumbly. To minimise that you can grill it first, or cook in a really good non-stick pan to seal it, then add last minute. Normally I can't be bothered though so I just add it, and it crumbles up! :D

Well made myself a fab chicken stir-fry tonight but added far too much tabasco, lol
Could have cooked the chicken a little more too but tasty all in all followed by a little pot of SF jelly - 0.5syns IIRC!
    C xx
