I keep forgetting to use the multi quote *rolls eyes*

Had a good lc day, eggs and soldiers for breakfast (thanks sweet)
piece of chicken at 5pm in work and my curry with green beans for tea.

Had 3 choc brazils, really nice from fridge, well worth the mess, will make a huge stash next time. The strawberries were lush too but they went seconds after the pic was taken :o

How much peanut butter was actually consumed Alias? :p
I couldn't eat it off a spoon either sweet.

Oh, had two crispbreads with my mixed nut butter about an hour ago too.

Morning all. First on the go again today I see. Where are you all? :D

mazzers....I have no idea...maybe about 6 or 7 teaspoonfuls? Doesn't sound much but they were heaped. :o It was enough to put my pound back on today.

    Oh well, such is life.

Not sure what today is going to bring. OH is off work today and is in a distant kinda mood these days so who knows how the day will pan out. They say stress burns calories so I might be Twiggy by tomorrow. :rotfl:

Daughter is supposed to be doing her cycling proficiency thing at school today but it's snowing so it'll probably be cancelled if it lies.

I'm toying with the idea of making one of those curries today for dinner. It's just the thought of cooking that's putting me off. :rotfl:I am, as you might say, a lazy biatch in the kitchen. :D

Off to have my cuppa and then clean out a wardrobe. See you all later. Be good.

Is a beautiful sunny day today, snowing yesterday morning, bloody mad weather.

Alias you dont seem to mention the weather, must've had it bad way up there, but prob get snow every year so you're used to it, and prob the council is equipped for it, nothing but school closures for the rest of the country th_1sm067roll.gif

Try the butter curry, is so easy and tasty, made in a few mins and i simmer for about ten, and add more chilli powder if you like it hot, and once the full fat yogurt is added it all comes together, also, quite limited ingredients, is one of my fave quick recipes ;)

Are you kidding? Our schools close at the drop of a hat. It's ridiculous. It's just started snowing here about an hour ago and already the radio has put out a 'schools are shut' bulletin.

Our roads are often not useable and OH has to cancel work because he can't drive to wherever he needs to be.

Our area seems to just give up at the sight of snow and starts again when it melts. *so want that rolling eyes smilie right now*

So I can eat it without any added crap AND they'll be no dead orang-outangs on my conscience. It's all good!

Oh no, don't like the sound of that :( Will have to google.

    I have too.
Just pluck them with tweezers.. pretend it's your chin :D :rotfl:

Excuse me, there's no hairs on my chin!! :p And no, it's not because I've already plucked them out!! :rotfl:

I love chocolate & I love brazils, but I can't eat them together!! _pale_ I'm only funny you know!! :o Liked the look of the choc strawberries though.
Have you tried the Aldi chocolate?? Was looking at it yesterday (think it was 75%??) but decided not to buy as there was only one & couldn't see a price.

Oh, had two crispbreads with my mixed nut butter about an hour ago too.

I had two last night as well, was feeling peckish & I always think they go nice with a glass of wine

    Morning everyone :hello:

And first we have the weather report for the North East of England - tis grey, cold & wet but no sign of the snow that was forecast :p

    Menu for today:
    B - same as yesterday
    L - same as yesterday
D - corned beef hash with creamy mushroom sauce

alias, good luck to your daughter if her cycling test goes ahead.
I'm lazy in the kitchen as well, but I've looked at that butter chicken recipe on Youtube & it does look sooooo easy, I'm gonna do it one of these days, just need to check my spices as I know I'm running out of stuff.

    Happy low-carb days

I used to buy the 75% choc til i noticed the difference in the carb count, (i think the 70% is round about 35-40g but the 85% is 19g) i get 85% now but is more bitter, although Dr DD's advice on adding sweetener is a good one, much more palatable, and great if you add nuts.
  • Morning, just having a bacon and cheese omellette, is yummy but have only managed half of it.
Will put the rest aside for later as i dont want to waste it.

I asked earlier in the thread if the crispbreads were ok on induction and no one answered me:(:p Does anyone know the answer?

guns and banjos, induction on which diet? Certainly not on IPD (Not ever on ipd!) and not on Atkins either. Don't know about any other lc diets, but generally I try to steer clear of anything that has more than 4g of carbs per 100g. the crispbreads have something v high like 72g per 100g, I think, even though they work out at only a few g per crispbread. All depends how you count/don't count carbs, but I'd think you should avoid on any induction phase.

Dunno tbh, dont do induction anymore, too restriced, just go generally lc, seems to work too, lost 8lb first week :) unheard of for me on any diet.

Some of us have the H&B lc crispbreads, 2.9 in each ( still high at 29g per 100g)
    Hope this helps.
