Horrible day here, dark and dismal with loads of black clouds a-looming.
Last day today and am rushing off to meet the others for a cooked breakfast..
See you all later.0 -
Very proud of my OH as well -she's determined to lose weight at the same rate as me (seems to be easier for me to lose weight being male and <30) so has been doing 30-60minutes on the treadmill each day as well as all the running around she does at work0

Good morning all :hello:
Yep, we have clouds a-looming too so not sure about the day out today.
mazzers, well done on resisting the sandwich, sausage roll etc - cardboard chicken sounds much 'better'!!
cupra, hope you managed to resist the !!!!! eggs!! Some before & in-progress photos would be interesting btw.
Badger, skinny & toned arms?! I'll try not to be jealous!! There see, I'm fine.
alias, are you actually having a sleep in today?!
Well, as I said, I'm not sure if we will get out today because weather is looking dodgyKnowing hubby, he will still want to go but I know kids will be miserable as sin if it's raining
Miserable kids = miserable day for me
B - 2 pieces bacon & fudge
L - salad, fudge & coleslaw (will put in tupperware if we go out - must remember fork!!)
D - might make shepherds pie with cauli/broc mash
Hope everyone has a good day today0 -
Morning Serendipity
Yes - managed to resist the !!!!! eggs ... still sitting in the box on the landing, so will hopefully pass the remaining ones onto family today
Before photo
In-Progress (kind of - need OH to get home to take a full body one)
I much prefer cauli mash to broccoli mash
Per person - 200g cauliflower, 3-4oz grated cheese (depending on allowance)
Steam/cook the cauliflower, mash with 1/2 - 3/4 the grated cheese, add as topping to cooked mince and sprinkle remaining cheese on top and finish cooking in the oven to brown the cheese0 -
Wow, kev!!
What a difference..... even if we can't see your body, it notices so much in your face!!!
Well done:j:j:jIf you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -

Well done:j:j:jHelps a lot when people I haven't seen for a while notice the difference
Also - 2007 I was just about in 42" jeans - now I'm about 1/2" off being able to wear 36" jeans comfortably0 -
As you know I keep my eye on what is happening in Sweden and I came upon this just now that I will reproduce exactly in it's Google Translation.
I keep my fingers crossed that the message must go forward and land where it belongs. That it is finally going to take a screw. That change can begin.
Where in Smedjebacken yesterday and listened to Annika Dahlqvist. A half hour before the hall was already half full. Sex lasted far out on the street. They had to close the door and check out people in the end, it was not getting more. It erupted UPROAR and quarreling at the door, several angry people wanted prompt and did not. Annika was great, she told in a clear and upright manner as the entire audience took strong impression. There was not an ounce of aggression, so she called aggressive? It is really rude to say it. But perhaps it may be the opposite effect, people running bone of themselves to listen to her. It is seldom we see so many people to lecture in these areas - I do indeed."
Comes to something when people are fighting to get into lectures about the benefits of saturated fat and low carbohydrate eating.
Just can't imagine what they were doing far out on the street.:DMy weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Hi guys.
I'm thinking I maybe need to have a day or two off Atkins. I'm not eating properly, I'm not sleeping properly, I feel tired and run down and I had to go to the Docs today to get a prescription for an antibiotic/steriod cream for an itchy rash I get from time to time when I'm stressed or run down. (Dont you dare all run away from me or cover your faces with cloths ....I is not contagious!:rotfl:). I'm not having a good time at the minute.
I seem to have fallen into a huge rut and I'm living off omelette/peanuts/Atkins bars and diet coke. I know, I know....bloody stupid! I'm just a walking misery.
There isn't much in the fridge in the way of 'suitable' foodstuffs and the thought of going shopping just makes me wanna scream. So I'm thinking I might just eat with the family for a day or 2 then restart Atkins again. I'm a bit worried it might be even harder restarting than it was starting in the first place though. Got about an hour till I start dinner so I'll mull it over for a while.
(We've just got a shiny new 0% credit card....think I could put lipo on it?)Herman - MP for all!0 -
Alias hun I know how you feel xx I get into ruts of eating the same few things all the time... and finding the energy to do shopping or cooking is just becomes an uphill struggle:o FWIW, I think it's really important to be in the right mindset to do a diet properly - and you've had a lot to deal with lately xx So if I were you, I'd take a couple of days out and then start afresh. Probably not everyone would agree with me on that:) But that's what I think anyways:) Or you could have same meals as your family, but just have smaller amounts of carbs, or substitute the carbs for extra veg or salad, maybe?
And step away from the new credit card:D:D
