mazzers, if you're anything like me, if you stick with it, I think you will see a difference in the first couple of weeks.
My face is the first thing to slim down as I'm not so water-logged & the same may happen with you. It's nice to see something happening, gives a boost.0 -

Gers, that soup sounds delicious, I love fresh tomato soup so will definitely give that a go as it looks fairly straightforward as well.0

Have your wine & don't worry about it, you deserve it after a day like today.

Gers, i wouldnt have thought about roasting the toms first, makes sense though, much more flavour probably.
Bought my son a cookbook for xmas as he was sposed to be moving out
He made tomato soup from a recipe in there and it was lovely, but would have prob been better if they were roasted first.0 -

Hope you ok, what a scary thing to happen, hopefully you weren't injured.
And Tesco not selling S&V peanuts?! Hope you get your Asda delivery soon, I have to have a stash in the house, I love 'em, so completely understand your sobs!!
Take care & hope you have a better weekend.
Thanks sweets
Fortunately not a scratch on anyone as far as I know. It was all scary and very bizarre. I was in the second to last carriage and it just banged against the window next to me several times and scared the wits out of me, but a colleague was in the last carriage and it smashed a window and she reckoned would have come through if it had banged once more. The driver (and everyone at the front) didn't even realise what had happened as they didn't see anything, so he sounded a bit confused at having no power when we got into wembley station, but a few minutes later (according to the colleague once someone had gone to have a look at the last carriage) we were told to 'get off this train NOW'
They suspended the line - obviously! The website said because of overhead line problems and I didn't see anything on the news so it makes me wonder whether, when I see overhead line problems, this has happened to other people.
The whole day was made much worse by the fact that I rang my OH for comfort and he didn't answer and hadn't arrived in work. After chasing around for a while trying to find someone to see where he'd got to I rang the police as I was starting to panick he'd been in an accident. When he finally rang me he too was fine, he'd just taken 2 hours to do a 20 minute journey and left his mobile at home, and the colleague he collects had put his mobile in the boot. Idiots.
Still we're all fine so no harm done and it all could have been so much worse. It just threw me for a few days but I'm all fine now and must stop using it as an excuse for being bone idle. I've got all the ingredients to make chocolate buns for the first time, but with 100% cocoa chocolate or 80% chili chocolate. Just need to decide which to experiment with, and tidy up the kitchen first0
