Mind your language young lady!!!! :rotfl:
Ooops, sorry, it just slipped out!!
Might help with you 'toilet department' issues :rotfl:
Lol, the crackers are helping!! Had another 2 for supper last night
Hmmm, sure I tried to multi-quote 3 times!!
Anyway, morning all :hello:
Stuck in this morning waiting for Autoglass repair *cue the song* to come & repair a chip in my windscreen caused by huge stone hitting said windscreen whilst travelling at 70mph (or thereabouts ) on motorway at the weekend. Scary stuff!!
Just waiting for 2 big pork sausages to cool down enough to eat them with my fingers as I don't want to be sitting here with a knife & fork when they turn up.
B - 2 big pork sausages
L - 2 crackers with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - chicken (possibly zero's pesto chicken??) with cauli/cabbage 'puree'& fried mushrooms
My cauli mash turned into cauli/cabbage 'puree' last nightDecided to cook cauli & cabbage in the same pan to save fuel & thought I may as well blend them together as well to make pretend colcannon. Used a stick blender. Hmmmmmm it didn't work!! Went very green!!
Made enough for 2 days as well cos was hoping to fry the leftovers for bubble & squeak today, but somehow I don't think that's gonna be possible, tis too smooth & puree like, bit like baby food!! Will attempt to re-heat it though (somehow ) to go with the chicken tonight cos I don't want to waste it!!
Right, better eat my sausages, see you later peeps, have a good day :wave:0 -
Hello G&B, hope everythings ok, not seen you about for a bit.
:jNo, i am here, just lurking. Last couple of days been terrible diet wise as it was hubbys birthday and i had laryngitis:( Felt really ill and got an out of hours doc appointment at the hospital where they gave me antibiotics and strong painkillers. Had about 3 packs of medicated strepsils over the weekend which are nearly pure sugar i think!
Back on track today though, had cheese omelette for breakfast and will have cauli cheese soup for lunch and chicken paprika for dinner:D Getting a food delivery later so will be all stocked back up on lovely lo carb food this evening.
Was reading with interest about the deletion of recipes! Was obviously done a while ago as i looked for the almond flour quiche recipe a while ago and couldnt find it, the link wasnt to the right thing. PM'd the user in question politely asking for the recipe and she never got back to me.
Hmmm, little childish methinks! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
OMG.
Apple Bottom jeans.
Are they still trendy? I hope so because they fit fantastically! My best ebay bargain to date.
Fashion advice please. I'm going out for a girly night out - drinking and dancing and reliving our youth. Not done this for YEARS. What do people wear nowadays?! Don't want to look like mutton, but not like a geography teacher either.
nice jeans, glam top and heels? slinky dress?
I don't have any smart trousers to wear with a glam top - the ones i would have worn are all too big (yay but also a pain in the smaller !!!!). I'm chuffed with my new body so want to show it off a bit but I'm 39 now and I'm very aware that I still have a bit of a muffin top, and even more of a belly, poking over my not very low cut jeans, and that the youngsters are likely to be abdominally toned. (i have seen much worse being shown in my local co-op but i know i'll still be self conscious of my untoned bits).
help!
oh yes, on the LC front I have done oopsies as a waffle/pancake kind of thing but i don't think they work as "bread" at all - even if you don't add splenda per the us recipe. i'd rather have the filling by itself than have it in an oopsie (although i was going to try them as fajitas)My name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg
(Atkins/IPD) 24/1/13 - 69kg! Yikes!

Just ignore me, i have a foul mouth :rotfl:
G&B glad your on the mend
Paula, as i'm told in work by the youngsters 'who needs fashion advice off you' so i will refrain :rotfl::rotfl:
As for the oopsie waffles, the 'cook' said they were like the real thing, i made them once and i didnt like them as bread either but am hoping as a sweet treat they will be nice.0 -
Apple Bottom jeans.

I'm obviously already past it, haven't got a clue what apple bottom jeans are?!But if they fit fantastically, then go for it!!

Not in my town! You get the odd 1 looking slender but most are muffin top heavenThey carry it well by not being bothered about it and act totally confident!
help!
I use well fitting jeans and a looser top. What the eye don't see etc :rotfl:
I also make make up perfect and accessorise well. Whatever you wear make sure you feel comfy in it. A relaxed happy woman looks good. (see notes on chubby girls above) Also remember, if you get too hot in the pubs n clubs you won't be comfy at all, and probably a bit shiny :rotfl:
Have a great time! After a few you won't care much but starting happy makes a good night get off well!
I don't do fashion. If your clothes flatter you, your on a winner!
