    Hi guys

I have worked out what has happened to some of the recipe list on page 1.
You know where you click on summat and the get something else?

Seems one of our erstwhile friends has gone back and deleted her posts.

Shame she chose to no longer share - that says a lot about the lady - but I seem to have saved some of the recipes to share again.

I have one to offer straight away (soon ie tonight), and will check out more later in the month, posting as I go. These will be saved and for all to share. In perpetuity :rotfl: I promise! :D

Best Low Carb Chocolat sponge ever!

    Totally Wonderful chocolate cake!

150g dark chocolate (min 70% solids)
    75g Butter
    3 eggs
    2 level tablespoons splenda
    1/3 teaspoon cream of tartar
    !/2 teaspoon of Baking powder

Use muffin cases, the non stick silicone types work well as do silicone bun cases
Otherwise grease and line tins or use paper bun cases.

    Pre heat oven to 170’C

Melt butter and choc in micro or over bowl of hot water. Set to one side to cool.

Separate eggs, Add splenda and baking powder to the yolks and Whisk the whites with cream of tartar till they form peaks.

Beat yolks, baking powder and splenda well. Mix yolks mixture into the cooled choc stuff. It will thicken somewhat.

Fold the peaky egg white mix into the choc mix – do this at about ¼ first, fold slowly and try to combine with all. This will make the whole mix a little thinner and facilitate further folding in. Fold in the rest in about 3 goes. Be gentle. You want to keep as much air in there as possible.

Quickly transfer to bun / muffin cases and get in oven asap.

Bake on top shelf for around 15 mins, a cocktail stick should come away pretty much clean.

Double this recipe for a cake in an 8inch tin, greased and lined unless silicone. *I’ve not tried this, if any left over stuff, do buns!* With cake, probly give an extra 5 mins in oven.

Could be topped with well whipped cream and dusted with cocoa for a special treat, or just scoffed as it is really so wonderful. Bet it’s nice with cream!

I’ve just had my first little bun. Really rich, really chocolatey, really the best bun I’ve had in years!

Made as I did, 70% cocoa solids choc, 8 buns made, 1 bun = 4.5 carbs

Not just yummy but v good carb wise too! If I went mad (and made myself sick) and ate the lot it’s only 36g carb.

I’ve had one. I’m really quite satisfied! Will have another later with cream.

    YAY! Hi saz!

Nice to see you here again too! Hope ur well!

Good to see how simple petty injustice brings out all the good ones!

    Cheers ladies!

I have just been through the list and got rid of all the wrong ones. I've kept a note and will try to put back good recipes to replace them.

It had me bewildered for a while, seems the choc cake gives one insight - suddenly all was clear :rotfl:

    Do try it - yum x 1000.

PS If I've missed a recipe you want to see on the list, pm me with the post no and I'll sort it out. Will be active recipe list wise over next few weeks so please do let me know.
