I'm afraid to make it again cos i want it all in one go:rotfl:
next time (later on) gonna use chillies, tomato and spring onion, oh and some of the salami i gotta use up. :D

Mercy did you work out the carbs in the lasagne??
Had some earlier and is really good substitute, think i'll cut into three servings next time tho.

Am having a lovely meaty flax bread sarnie later with salad and mayo, mmm cant wait.
Mercy how bout 'inventing' some crisps substitutes :D have tried scratchings and dont mind the hard pieces but the mushy bits are revolting.

I worked out the carbs in the lasagne - sounds lovely but I'm not big on that sort've thing. I reckon you were about right with the carb count. At 1/3rd of the whole we're looking at 6-7g per portion. Not bad!

Not big on crisps either :rotfl: find I can get on with the soft bits of scratchings, rather like em :) Not had any for a while, seem to be going 'natural' at the mo. Will always have some in for emergencies though :)

Really gone off bread, just don't fancy it anymore. It goes all suety in the mouth :( :rotfl:

Think this woe is getting to me! Haven't had any bread, rice, pasta for more than 6 months, don't really want any. Will probably have some thin sliced continental bread with my boiled egg for breakfast on hols, doesn't seem as 'goey' as our stuff. But we'll see. Not been there for 8 months or more, might have gone off theirs too :rotfl:

Am feeling rather bloated after my sarnie.
I hope flax doesn't stall me.

Lots of my family and friends are saying no way could they go without bread, I thought that too mind, but goes to show how addictive it is and the average brit buys loads of the stuff on a weekly basis, i have seen it first hand on the checkouts when working there.

Blinkin awful stuff i now realise.

It's one thing I miss. Gorgeous granary as sandwiches or toast, and lovely fresh, thick, uncut white with pate. Stoneground rolls with soup.

On the stalling subject, do people think 'stalling' exists? Or is it just a case of too many carbs for weight loss (whether they come from flax, spinach, or anything else)?

Any stalling the flax causes will likely be more than offset by the actual weight loss that over functioning bowels gives you :) :rotfl:

I've found it quite alarming on occasion :)

    Hmm, velly intelesting...
Us oldies will remember the german off rowan and martins laugh in.

Is good point tho, hadn't really thought that way, but wouldn't we all have certain things that would spike our blood sugar more than others??

mazzers, your mexican fudge with a twist sounds yum!!
I still haven't felt hungry after my piece at 3pm so I'm sorry to say I didn't make the lasagne tonight. Ended up making a bolognaise sauce & hubby/kids had it with spaghetti. Thinking of using the leftover sauce for a mini-lasagne for me tomorrow. :D

The mexican fudge is deceptively filling :)

Love it for snacks at work, we have a fully functioning tuck shop so it's best to go prepared :rotfl:

Sure, I didn't mean to be holier-than-thou. (I'm very good indeed at being bad.) I just meant that I thought 'stalling' wouldn't normally be used for plain-old-too-many-carbs?

    I don't remember R&M's Laugh-In, but I've heard of it. Goldie Hawn?
