Morning everyone, just like to report that the week i took off from the plan for my birthday i gained 10lb  so since Tuesday ive been back on plan and trying to start induction again without the nuts. Didnt really survive past day 3 before i was munching on something nutty but still very low carb :) and today i jumped on the scales and i had lost 7lbs :jso that means im only up by 3lbs! that i can live with and will work on losing this week. Nuts are my weakness but i just love them so much.

Just want to ask does anyone else let their size and weight affect their confidence and social skills? i think im going backwards, before i was so more confident and like going out and now that im more aware of my weight im withdrawing. I just always feel like the giant blob and dont want to do anything :o or go anywhere. I dont mind being around people ive known already but i hate meeting new people because i think they will judge me. :(

I have tried to introduce a few more carbs, wasn't too bad yesterday but it's just not working out, is making me hungry all the time, so back to lc icon7.gif before i put the stone back on

Serena, please be warned, i have been on my laptop watching films, reading this thread, and on fb all day, and the thing is, its in my bedroom :o
    How sad is that?

    I must get a life.. i must get a life... i must...

Thanks for the warning Mazzers but it may already be too late for me! Even if I don't post I'm on here lurking ...

My son says I'm not allowed on fb, now maybe I get an idea of why.

Sorry, but I did laugh (out loud :o) when I read that!! The same thing has happened to me before!! Tis only fluid though.

today i jumped on the scales and i had lost 7lbs

Same again for me. In the past, I mean!! I think the most I lost in one week was 8lbs, just getting rid of the fluid again but makes you feel so much better!!

Yes, yes & yes again!! I've put loads of weight on in the last few weeks & I can feel my confidence ebbing away (& I don't have much in the first place). Haven't bought new clothes for ages & my hair is in desperate need of a cut but can't face going clothes shopping or going to the hairdressers just yet. Also, I really need to get a job as I'm sick of being at home with no money, but, I don't have the confidence to apply anywhere atm. :(

Have been following this thread & it does give some good advice if you haven't seen it already

I should really start practicing what it preaches.

And the haircut is easy peasy, you've only got to sit there.

I've always hated it, but there again I've nearly always been fat :o Yes you just sit there, but, you have to look at yourself in the mirror (I always look bl00dy awful, worse than I think I look iyswim) and you have to make small talk!! Hate it, hate it, hate it!!
