I've just got some of the full fat Greek Yoghurt as suggested in a previous post and it is £1.95 a pot. It's is lovely though. I there anywhere you can get it cheaper as I love yoghurts?

I've been buying that one, but I always used to make my own yogurt, when I had it from skimmed milk. I've just made my first batch of full fat, and it's come out lovely and creamy.
I do have a yogurt maker, but it can be done in an airing cupboard or warm space.

1 pot of live/probiotic full fat yogurt 38p
1 litre UHT full fat milk 72p

    1 litre yogurt £1.10

but for the next batch I would use one of my pots as the starter and would only need the litre of milk.

    1 litre 72p,

and I've just looked on mysupermarket Tesco sell a 6 x 1 litre pack @ £3.79, would make each litre cost 63p after buying the first starter.

I'm skipping quickly over mummy pictures, scary! (or perhaps not quite so scary)

I resisted the wine last night and feel very virtuous. I'm stocking up the wine rack for when I don't resist, though! :rotfl::A

    Today's menu:

no breakfast due to sleeping being more fun than eating
brunch: bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, mushrooms
dinner will be chicken tikka skewers with salad

Jordylass - I think I will look out for a yoghurt maker. I had one years ago and it didn't matter what I did, it was too runny. How do you make it in a cupboard? Do you just put it in a bowl or something and how long should I leave it there? Can I use normal full fat milk or does it have to be UHT?

I'm not sure, I think it's overnight, just in a bowl with a cover, but I'm sure you'll be able to google making without yogurt maker, you might be able to get one on freecycle/ebay.

You can use normal whole milk, but it's a right faff on has to be boiled then cooled, UHT is straight from the carton.
