yeah i pay about 37 a week but that is all your food so if your eating out or buying take aways and sweets and stuff that all adds up. im 5.7 so on 3 "meals" a day i lost 10lb first week and 5lb in my second and i get weighed on friday. i have not found it hard to stick to at all and the food is nice so its not too bad but you do need to be very careful when you come off it so you dont pile it all back on which is why im on here - looking for a good follow up plan to help me maintain/loose and i think it is carbs that my body hates :)

there is a cambridge thread here and its very good

    :)

My body cant be doing with carbs either. Its only me that likes them.

Give lc a go, you can get good results first off, not as good as CD i dare say but at least you can eat delicious real food and can then actually increase carbs to your own personal level for maintenance.

    Dunno what cws is??

mango - love it, probably my favourite fruit, but please, not in cheese!! _pale_

ginger - love it, but only in biscuits, or should that be nuts?! Again, please, not in cheese!! _pale_

Just can't stomach sweet stuff with savoury - yuk!!

    Cws is welsh cheese.
Oh the mango and ginger is fab, my sons love it too, it doesnt taste of ginger, is just creamy and fruity.
But we do like cheese with apples and grapes etc.
Also like meats with fruity things.

Aah, welsh cheese, that's why I hadn't heard of it!!

I can eat wensleydale (Wallace & Gromit's favourite cheese :D) with Christmas cake, but the thought of eating cheese with fruit (I know, Christmas cake is full of fruit) is just wrong!! Imo!! Cheese & crackers, now that is a different story!! Yum, yum!!

I probably shouldnt actually be eating cheese with mango in it but as it is bought from the deli counter it doesn't have the carb content.

    Tough anyway ;)

I have a sore throat coming on.
My manager has probably passed it on to me the git
