It was on the packet, but only 2/3 mins I think. (Good for nibbles - mini scotch eggs that is - with a drink )

If he hasn't had his tea yet, you'll be alright! ;)

He hasn't and there's Butcher's Tripe waiting for him, he just won't go downstairs.

Poor lad! Visitors upset me too.
Hope he feels more comfortable soon.

    morning :D

day off today and food unplanned as yet.

    need to go shopping though

whenever i make scotch eggs i just use the inside of a sausage to wrap round the egg, i think oven baking maybe better although ive not tried it that way , as when ive pan fried them the sausage drops off! :o

Having a hungry day today, think that it is because I feel tired at the moment.

sistercas - you put me to shame as I seem to be eating loads more than you.

Edwardia - I hope that your dog came downstairs ok!

bossymoo - how is Dukan going? I am wondering whether to trying adding a bit of oat bran to my diet to lower cholesterol so do you have any fairly low carb recipes please?

breakfast - 1 scrambled egg with a little smoked salmon, yogurt with flax and sesame seeds

lunch - green salad, half avocado with cheese, smoked mackeral and nuts

I have also had an almond pancake with a few raspberries and cream and 2 sq dark chocolate

dinner - smoked haddock, asparagus, broccoli, half carrot

Probably too much but at least it is low carb :D

The dawg held out until midnight but OH did grab him by collar and force him down step to step - "the boy" as OH calls him is not fat but as a Labrador too bloomin big n heavy to carry. He's very subdued today :( which is very unlike him !

B - Indian-style scrambled eggs with mushrooms and spring onions

    Hi Sheila,

I forget my oatbran a lot of the time...

But, porridge is nice, I use 2tbsp you can mix with water, milk, cream. Cinnamon is nice.
Or muffins. Again 2tbsp mix to a batter with Philly, an egg, some sweetener and bake in silicone for 15-20 min.
Some people just stir it into yoghurt.
If you like almond pancakes, just add some to the batter mix? Reduce the amount of almond so your wet / dry mix stays the same?
Or use it to coat your home made scotch eggs?

I'm not eating today, feel a bit carp, so just having fluids. And a vitamin chew. And an early night...
