Hanspan, this graph is great, saddo that i am, i have gone through most of my posts as i didnt keep a record of weight loss except on this thread and i want it to be accurate, am surprised at how many naughty times i have had ( i thought i was mostly good) was quite an eye-opener. :o

It is great to see the overall trend, and although my goal is low, i am not too bothered about reaching it exactly, or if it takes longer than expected, but came up with the time scale as 2lb a week is the average loss on most diets.

    Thanks for your trouble hanspan

You're very welcome. Its really no trouble as I am a complete saddo and love Excel. I have all my finances and the house finances and all sorts of other things in excel too. I just wish the graph function was better so I could set up a generic one and not have to fiddle manually with the graph depending on the scale and timescale people need, mind you then I'd have no excuse to fiddle!

2lb a week actually sounds like a lot to me. I've just started reading the diet delusion and I'm sure I remember a few chapters ago it said .5 to 1lb of fat loss a week was the highest realistic loss possible.

The book is fascinating and I can feel evangelicism coming over me - how much crazier will I drive the people at work who I now seem to have an ongoing argument with ;)
There's a bloke who lives on fruit, chocolate biscuits and pizza from what I see, and has a glass of lemon water to detox to start the day - and he tells me my diet is unhealthy as I munch through a bag of nuts and a pepperami!!!
There's also a lady with PCOS who's doctor has told her to lower her cholesterol and to eat low fat to do it. Grrr. She's actually fine with the idea of low carb, just can't think what to do for lunch as we have no food heating arrangements and she hates cold veg.
I wonder if I can buy IPD and the diet delusion in bulk and just hand them out ;)

Ditto HanSpan btw. Haven't had a chance to play yet as Excel is on other pc but thank you very much for taking the time, it's very much appreciated. I will get on other pc tomorrow and will chart my path to slenderness. :D

Again very welcome. Its actually really nice to be able to do something for someone else that is so painless for me!

Cough!!!! Can I creep back in please?:o

Fell off the wagon - well, leapt and bounced a lot!!!!!!

After months of self delusion (only looking at about six inches of me in the mirror)etc, I went shopping for new trousers yesterday and had to look at myself in a full length mirror!!!!!

I know I feel better and less hungry when low carbing so don't know why I did not just get back to this ages ago.

Had a massive and low carb breakfast and getting my head back to being sensible.

    See you all later

Welcome back elona, admit it, it was last night's shenanigans on this thread that tempted you back!! :rotfl:

  • Jpretty I have a tub in the fridge from Tesco and they state 6g per 100g quite a lot really but nice for a change and something sweet. Its my weight in day tomorrow also and fingers crossed it will be good as i've been really good all week and have been doing a lot of exercise. Its so depressing when you step on the scales and u haven't lost when u have been so good. I'm feeling slimmer though so hopefully will both ave done good. X

By the way I am just low carbing now and don't count have many carbs I eat a day just generally keeping them low and not eating any bread, pasta, pots etc.

Just did a quick tot up of yesterday's food. Think it's about 12-15g?

Is that enough? Should I keep it up? Still feel fat but been eating like this 4 days now.

    Oh, I don't know

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Oh okay then. :rotfl:

Welcome back. :D Do you have any nice pictures [STRIKE]of men [/STRIKE]to share? :rotfl:

Just kidding. Lol. Nice to see you here again.

jpretty...I usually average around 15 ish. When I'm being good, I tend to be on a long term induction kind of thing and try to always keep it under 20 per day.

Will see you all later....I'm actually busy today, I just ran in on a tea break.:D
