If you manage to reset your IR i will be well impressed, have read the link but it sounds like BS to me i'm afraid, but hope i'm wrong
I'd try anything to sort mine.
i have no idea if it will work , if it does great but even better if i can lose my cravings and just eat twice a day , im not following it to the letter so that may affect any results0 -
Happy new week!
Eaten well today :rotfl:
B - 2x asda gluten free sausies, some cheddar, 2x baby plum toms, 2 tblspns kimchi.
L - liver casserole (not a lot of sauce) using iceberg lettuce as wraps, 3x baby plum toms
Eve - will be ~250ml plain greek yogurt and pecan nuts.
For those on LR type thing (or indeed anyone else) Asda gluten free sausies have 13.9g protein per sausie. (trace of carbs)
Have to say, I ate breakfast at 7.30 and still wasn't hungry till 1pm. Had to go for lunch then tho. Still not hungry from lunch. Was surprised how lovely the liver cass was with lettuce. Will have that again as 3 more in freezer(small amount really about 150ml ie 1/3 of 500ml lunch box.)

Just a little thank you for the non smoking support.
At 7am tomorrow it'll be 6 full days not smoking even 1 fag! :j Incredibly pleased I'm doing this and that I found something which seems to work for me. The lake of strongbow consumed on sat without fancying a nasty was a good test. Both my beer mates were smoking throughout, too.
In a bit i'll stop the counting out loud but please bear with me if I mention it again
Big thanks and big love

is really very good. It's not started fermenting yet but i think it may well do overnight. so all this week I'll be tasting the changes.
Went very garliky and the spring onions became v strong. Ate some in the Lab for brek and expected someone to mention it but no one did. They would if they could tell as our team don't hold back. so easy to speak there.
Has anyone else tried fermenting foods? I fancy sauerkraut as i may have mentioned, but also other veggies and kefir.
All / any experiences welcome.
I need a julienne peeler. Any recommendations?

sistercas - I am fine but been away for the night with DD for her bithday and had a spa day today. Lovely massage and facial, my first in 61 years
Hotel gave us chocolate cake for DD's birthday last night and I ate about one third. Up in night with stomach gripes and heartburn. Shows how these things can affect you.
Had to eat in hotel so
breakfast - scrambled egg, sausage (1), bacon (1), half tomato
20g brie with smoked salmon, coffee
lunch - poached eggs with smoked salmon, spinach & hollandaise sauce. Berries.
dinner - home now - small avocado, cucumber, prawns with mayo, chicken, handful nuts & square chocolate
will have some yoghurt with seeds later
Interesting to see how everyone fares on their different forms of low carbing.
Mercy - well done, nearly a week :T
mazzers - hope that you get things sorted - how did we manage without the internet?
sistercas - thanks for asking - nice avatar! 3 days so keep us posted!!0 -

That looks yummy. I guess I ought to see if my local greengrocer has some mooli left :rotfl:
I make my own yogurt and have previously had both milk and water kefir and a pukka ginger beer plant. I didn't get on too well with the milk kefir because my then live in carer was vegan and so I couldn't include it in foods. The water kefir was good, I much preferred it to the milk kefir, I fed it an egg shell and it went crazy mad. The best was the GBP, much better flavour than the water kefir but... I managed to adulterate it with the ordinary kefir and so I lost it. I was just considering ordering some more and you've prompted me to get on with it.
