    Hi BB

The last thing I need is people 'advising' me what I should have, especially when they add 'by your age'

Grrr! How I hate that!

    Hi BB

I'm aware that I earn an OK salary and don't have children to provide for!

I have been thinking about this quite keenly over the last couple of weeks, am in the "I want children" mindset again, keep thinking I should really be a mother by now icon9.gif but I know that although I too have an ok salary I can hardly support myself and don't even have my own home, don't know how I would support a child. And I am running out of time:eek:

Oh Sarah - don't give up hope. I think I'm a lot older tham you? (I'm 42), I don't think you are running out of time.

On the financial side, all my friends with children, with or without a partner, thought they couldn't afford a child - but somehow they've worked it out. I really think priorities change and things you think you 'need' now just don't seem to matter anymore. Some of my most designer clad friends have really surprised me!!! :rotfl:

Well, I have been thinking that I will do it, with or without someone, as I could manage if I put my mind to it, but is life any fun if you have to manage? But is it fun if you miss the opportunity to have children if you really want to? In an emergency I could throw myself on the mercy of my parents (would have to be an emergency:D ). But I don't just want a baby, I want the whole package.

One of my friends said last week, "You'd make such a lovely mum." Nearly choked:cry: Because I really think I would:o (Think I may be hormonal:o )

    Hi sarah,

dont panic yet, many women dont have children until late 30's early 40's now so you have time :D . If in 5 years time you still dont have children I will have a 14 year old that I will probably be [STRIKE]very willing to lend you [/STRIKE] begging you to take care of  You can have a go & then she can go live with Aunty Shoe Gal, Aunty eco, Aunty Buffy etc etc etc until you all realise just how pleasant & uncomplicated life without children is :rotfl:

It is a seldom advertised fact that having a child can mean not having another lie-in for about 18 years  And dont be fooled by any of that Mothers Day carp either, if they remember, you will have to eat soggy toast & marmite & drink cold milk at about 6 in the morning (yep, I was relieved that mine forgot this year ;) )

European city breaks ? :rotfl: Eurodisney more like
