What about a car boot sale?
I would have to declutter the car boot first. Completely forgot about that. It's full of the sort of stuff that needs decluttering.
My room, my car, my mind, my wardrode, my make up, my bookcases, my fridge, my cupboards, my bedding box... Do I have anything which doesn't need decluttering? :rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hi all, am using Buffy's excellent trick of writing in a font which is invisible to the human eye for my food declaration;) think I got too carried away with the fact that I lost 3lbs and thought I could afford to be greedy. I can't! Will start again tomorrow. Am hoping for at least 2lbs this week so I will be halfway towards the first target in my sig.
Have done absolutely no decluttering today, have been working, covering the bank holiday so that I get some days off in the week instead. I am going to use those to try and get everything sorted. Will take the books to the charity shop tomorrow and start on the bedding and toiletries.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I was reading an interview with Jennifer Aniston, who I greatly admire, earlier where she was talking about her steps to happiness. One of them was to 'make your home your sanctury'. It really struck a chord with me, I spend a lot of time at home, through debt and singledom , and I don't always make the effort to make it as nice as it could be.
Obvioulsy decorating etc is not really an option as I am trying to reduce my debts but I am really going to make the effort to be tidier and keep my apartment as my 'sanctury'. I have loads of candles and stuff but never really bother unless I have visitors - that's going to change.Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

And here is my food declaration for today ..............
Unfortunately due to the contents of my food declaration I have had to use font that can not be seen by the human eye.Suffice to say I will be dieting as from tomorrow

In the same vein, here is mine for the last 3 days ...
Well, now that I've confessed to all that ^ I can assure you that diet is on as of tomorrow - in just 18 weeks from now I will be required to either wear swimming attire or convert to islam .
congratulations on your loss sarah :j
Hey bowski & good to hear the hol was fab
Re charity vs ebay : so far I still havent acquired a digital camera so take all my stuff to the local charity shops which does boost my karma I think & by the time I have mastered ebaying there will probably be nothing left in the house worth selling anyway; I'm on a mission to minimalize & simplify my life.0 -
Hi All,
had a very good weekend, went walking on Sunday and if anyone wants any advice don't walk up Ingleborough it makes your hips and legs ache like you wouldn't believe, been walking round the house bent double, I could swear I hear creaking where ever I go.
On the diet thing, the other week I looked at the calories in flour, can't remember exactly how many are in 100g but I was shocked, it's probably what makes bread so bad.
On Ebay, I don't do it but my sis does sometimes and she gets really excited when her stuff is finishing, I suppose it's what makes it bearable putting the stuff on in the first place.0
