Sorry to be cat-obsessed but I'm ridiculously excited ... I'm getting Noah the white boy whose paws were in such a terrible state when he came in!! :j
How exciting - he looked gorgeous on the link you posted! :j:j And bless his little paws.....
I'm watching Dirty Dancing - I love this film sooo much - I remember first watching it when I was 13 and truly believed my destiny was to meet a Patrick-a-like and learn to dance....I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Hi everyone, hope you're all ok..
Fab news on the cats/houses etc :j there's been lots to catch up on !!
Not having facebook has done me the world of good, I've almost finished my 3rd book of the month and I have a nice tidy house, well except my bedroom but that's just meant to be messy!:o
Most day's last week I was in bed before 10pm and I've really felt the benefit of a morning and at work, I'm really enjoying it again
Car tax- I've saved £40 worth of stamps and also have £80 cash so still deciding wether to get 12months tax or just 6 months tax and spend the rest on the car, the window really needs to be fixed in time for winter.
Some cheeky sod stole my identity and stole all my bill money and more (taking me over my overdraft limit!) Cheeky beggars spent £218 with Stena line and got £30 phone credit ! Hopefully I should be getting it back next week. I really hope so anyways as my alot of my bill's go out on the 1st and I have nothing else as it all had to go towards putting my account back in credit so I didn't get charged for going over my O/D. For some reason I wasn't mad or stressed about it, I just thought no point worrying coz I can't do anything about it. If anything it tickled me, just the cheekiness of them. Just so glad I'm getting it back.
Oh I need to get myself to bed so I can read my book for half an hour. Glad I finally got chance to post- I've missed it

Bowski, glad you're back hon
& hope you had a fab holibob. Grrrr to hear about having your identity theft :eek::(. that's so carp, hope you get it all sorted very very soon. Do you have an estimate of how much the window will be to fix ? Might be worth getting it done  as long as 6 months tax wont leave you having to do the 12 months at a really inconveient time of year. I actually only put 6 months on mine when I got it so that I could then do the 12 months at a better time of year for me.
Well done on all the early nights & reading & being so tidy too. sleep tight.
Fire Fox, - yay to getting new kitty :jmissed that link so will have to trawl back through thread to find it. I hope he settles in as quickly & happily as ours has.
I have a new book to read & about a stone in weight to lose, still . Hey ho, I'm doing well on groceries & NSDs & payments so will just have to get over it.
Everything crossed for you makeup & I always eat something like giant mushrooms when out, for the same reasons as you0 -
Hello!
I'm back. Was super busy last week with work and went away for the weekend. Spent a bit too much money, but it was fun. Still trying to assess the current state of the finances, but I suspect a quiet month might be in order. Get so fed up of living payday-to-payday, grrr. Oh well, I had fun this weekend and if I can't afford to go out, I'll stay in and do some work on my finances/house situations.
I did notice you'd tried to PM me, makeup - I've now cleared out my inbox - sorry!
Hope everybody else is doing ok. Still got to catch up with the thread, but I'll be back on later.

Sorry to hear about the identity theft, Bowski, hope it's not too much of a pain to sort out. Look back through your statements as there is often a test transaction of a small amount before the main event. Phone credit is a very common test.
They've taken Noah down from the Cats Protection site as he is reserved! But there are before and after at the bottom of this page:

He is gorgeous Fire Fox!! How on earth did he end up in that state though? The transformation is amazing. You have to post lots of pics once you get him.

Hi everyone,
good to hear from you Gwen,
Fire Fox that is one very pretty kittywould look fab next to my all black one, has the same colour eyes too. Cant wait to hear that you have him. I wouldnt go buying loads of expensvie toys until he settles in though, glad I bought the cheapest scratch platform, cat hasnt been near it & prefers to use the front door mat instead . Hasnt been anywhere near the bed either, prefers under the sofa during the day & on the sofa at night
.
Need to go to bed now as starting to yawn. I reset my alarm last night & got it wrong, it went off at 3.30  must check carefully tonight.

Hi all :hello:
Firefox, Noah is gorgous! And I agree with Lula Hula, let him settle in before you go on a mad shopping spree- my cats wont touch cat toys but will go mental for a screwed up ball of paper, and wont sleep in cat beds but will sleep on the laptop if its left out closed or any important paperwork thats left out, the more important the better :rotfl:
I had a brilliant weekend blowing my bonus, and wont need to do any clothes shopping for a while, and I did manage to get come really lovely boots, total bargin from TK Maxx (we also got so hyperactive in Accessorise that the staff stalked us round the shop, we were hooting like owls for some reason - i blame the coffee)
