Do you also have wine

    Welcome anyway :D

    Happy New clothes sarah :)

Shoe Gal, I've been putting off the cat decision for ages as I really truly & honestly believe that :

    1) I am going to acquire a camper van & bohemian lifestyle any minute now.
    2) I will meet Mr. Fabulous & have many romantic & cultured week ends away.
    3) I will win the lottery & move somewhere hot & sunny.

    Then I woke up :rotfl:

It is possible to have home cats & one of the ones waiting to be rehomed had limited vision so would have to live indoors all the time. It was so pretty but I would prefer one that could go outside & we do have a garden. There a nasty daddy long legs./crane fly flapping about in here at the moment, I hate them & really hope the new cat will destroy them & other types of insect ;)

    Hi Lula

Not keen on the idea of indoor cats really, although l know they exist. Just think they are so independent that they should have the opportunity to go outside

l have to go to bed now - l am sooooooooo tired :D

Hi to the newbies, Fire Fox which part of Yorkshire are you from? I'm 36, single and a little bit of deby thanks to getting a newer car, which I love so not complaining too much.
Going walking again tomorrow and my neice has decided she's tagging along, cos she wants to lose weight, so not drinking tonight cos I've told her I'll collect her at 8 and she better be ready to go.

    Hi eco,
good to hear frm you again & Happy New Car :)

Quite agree re the independence thing Shoe Gal, I think I'm far more compatible with cats than other types of pets.

I'm off to the allotment in the morning so must also get to bed now. The wine was nice but a bit strong - much prefer my Pink Elephant ;)

    night night all
    xx

Thanks so much for the welcome ladies, I'm going to use the :D smilie for the first time in two weeks just for you ... the wine is in the fridge as I made myself rather ill on Wednesday night by staying out literally all night drowning my sorrows. :o

Shoe Gal I live in a flat and am looking at getting a house cat from a rescue - I had the home check but not heard back if I have passed. I would only have an adult cat that is unable to go out for health/ safety reasons - deaf, partially blind or FIV (cat HIV) for example.

Eco I am in Bradford city centre, not too far from you I think? Is your username because you have 'green' interests?
