Single and in Debt Part II

Hey Eco - sounds like you've been doing lots of good things. Walking in the dales sounds lovely.
I've spent two days this week feeling really really dreadful. I think I had a migraine and it was horrible. Just about the only time when I either wished I lived at home with my parents again or I had a live-in boyfriend so that someone else could have made me tea & soup etc etc!
I don't know how you guys with kids manage when you are sick
I've got a new thread buzzing round my head involving matched betting and other stuff. I would really like to have a money neutral Christmas so it might be based around that....what do you guys think?
I've been good on spends this week so far - Twinks hobnobs makes lots and lots so I've been taking them into work for snacks and then someone bought me lunch yesterday (sausage roll and a chelsea bun so maybe not the best option.......)
On the AW09 shopping experience I've seen a gorgeous coat in Wallis most beautiful coat ever but I tried it on instore and it is a bit tight so I need to lose some weight so I can fit into it. I was wearing a t-shirt and my mum kindly pointed out I couldn't wear a jumper under it.....
Shoegal - also loving the Yasmin Le Bon range, thankfully it only goes up to 16 so no chance of me splashing the cash!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hello all, have managed not to buy any clothes today:D Am still waiting for an M&S code to appear on the discounts board.
Make up, sorry to hear you have been unwell, that is truly when I hate being single most, no one to ask if you'e okay and bring you endless cups of tea. Definitely start a money neutral thread, I have lost the plot with matched betting and need to get it straight in my head again.
eco, glad you had a lovely holiday:D
Carole, thanks for the links, am not working tomorrow so will have a read, am doing so badly with food again, I need some inspiration:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hello,
just popping in briefly - Well done on not buying anything else today sarah. sorry to hear you've been ill makeup
hope the restorative powers of Twinks hobnobs soon take effect. As to being ill with kids ... I rarely get ill, no time for it & the joy of working from home means I dont often come into contact with other peoples germs or nasty recycled air.
Wish you better soon,
G'nite

Right I'm back online at home, and 02 are going to get one heck of a stroppy email.
Makeup sorry you've been poorly, I've been reading the MB thread I printed off and was going to read it again and ask some questions this weekend, I figure I've nearly got it,but don't want to get something wrong, 1 of the questions was did you open a seperate bank account?
Back to work on Monday I know I'm going to be busy catching up so I don't want to go.
I'll be back on this evening if anyone's staying in.0 -

Thanks Eco, feeling tons better now, turns out Twinks Hob Nobs do have medicinal properties after all.....:j
No, didn't open another bank account or another email account. TBH my email is full of junk already - some gambling stuff ain't gonna make much of a difference.
And I didn't see the point of opening a new bank account. Some people have mentioned not wanting their bank to see them spending money on gambling but my money is my money....I'm not in my overdraft or anything so my bank has no say whatsover in what I splash my cash on.....
Was out at the theatre tonight with a friend who gave me some useful advice on dealing with ex (he of the 'helpful' comments re: my weight) he's been ringing me and I've ignored the calls so far but now he texted to say was I away or did I want him to stop calling.
I'm really carp at being tough and final and was dithering over what to do so my friend told me to text him that I thought we should leave it a while. That way not final but gives me some more breathing space and who knows how I may feel in a few months. I've never 'broken' off a friendship before - sometimes they slip away or whatever but never definitively broken up!!!
Where is Bowski?? Was she off on hols?I've got my own flat :j:j

Hello everyone, wondered if you might consider letting me join you ... little bit of a fraud as I am no longer in debt, but still maintain my DFW diary to keep me on the straight and narrow financially. Also I am only half single - Mr. Fire Fox has cheated on me and is moving out on 7 October.
Am hoping all your chat about clothes and life in general will cheer me up, as I am really very wobbly at the moment. Hopefully I will be able to contribute something to the thread as I am a fitness instructor so know about exercise and diet stuff.
Other than that I am nearly 37, live in my own flat in Yorkshire and don't have any children. Could do with some clothes advice myself as I've put on too much weight (yes I know take your own advice) so nothing fits and I don't really know much about fashion as I just live in gym kit and trainers. On the bright side I've hardly eaten for the last two weeks so no longer look pregnant.
If anyone fancies introducing themselves so I can play catch up that would be great!Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Hello FireFox! :hello:
You've contributed to my diary - thankyou! You're definitely in the right place here.
So sorry to hear about your fella. It must be very difficult still living with him, but not together, particularly after what he did.
Well done on being debt free - that's fab! I suppose *technically* I am, but I refuse to use my savings to pay off the CC. They are to be used for housing renovation or moving only, so I am trying to pay off my CC. So I'm 29, trying to pay off my CC and OD, whilst still saving for house renovations and trying to have a life. I will get there one day!
I'm sure we can cheer you up with some fashion chit-chat, especially if you like shoes! To start you off I've just order this in both colours!! I'll only be keeping one though.

And I may take advantage of 50% off Tigi products on cheapsmells to order some stuff on there and go through quidco too for cashback
Take care of yourself
GwenxThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0
