Happy New Clothes
Thanks Lula, I am actually quite impressed I got this far and I am going to enjoy having new clothes all the more for having been deprived of them for 8 months:DAs to pure wool hmmmm  I usually start by handwashing in very soft detergent but after I've done that 3 or 4 times I bung them in the washing machine on the cool/delicates/wool wash. I actually put 100% cashmere stuff in the machine after a few handwashes too & it hasnt shrunk yet.
Thanks Lula,:A I am not one for messing about doing different washes, I stick to darks/whites/bedding and everything has to fit into one of those, however I will try the handwash for the first few times and see what happens.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hello The Moo
Welcome & thanks for that, I've been trying to remember that name ( Duo) since the conversation started . We've had that tip before - I remember falling deeply in love with a pair of purple suede boots on the website ...
I need a pair of black boots & a matching bag. Yes, this is a necessity for me0 -

all I have to say to you is " Duo boots - Genova in red & purple suede :heartpuls"
But I'd rather have Johnny than George ...0 -
I shall settle in and get comfortable :-)
Yes, the Duo boots are a bit expensive...I also just looked at the site and saw a customer comment about how well they fitted her "thin calves" Oh dear!
I've been enjoying reading about the clothes challenge. Shoes are my downfall, have been on a shoe diet all year, the only shoes bought have been trainers (running-type not fashion-type). Hmm until yesterday when I cracked and bought a pair of sparkly bronze fitflops :-) They were an essential purchase so I can tone up my legs to fit in my boots for winter.
Off to do a bit of tidying up, will pop back in soon for more. Thanks for your nice welcome
