Oh no! It must be Lula's influence - drunk on a school night ;)

    Hey you :p, I heard that :D

    I'm doing it all again too. have scored a stupidity hatrick tonight ;

Went round to visit a friend who's moving into his new place. I was unpacking his bin bags of clothes & organising them in the wardrobre when I spotted a fab pair of designer trousers that would be perfect for my hol. ( I have about £18 left to spend this year so need to be crafty ;)) He was quite happy for me to borrow them so I brought them home & discoverd that they were way beyond 'boyfriend baggy' style so I whipped out my sewing machine to do a bit of altering ....

Had a glass of rose on the go too ...

Sewed right throught the wrong bit, tried to retrace my steps & ended up ripping fabric  temper flared up & I tried to pull them out of the machine, completely forgetting about glass of wine :eek:. New rug now christened, penultimate wine glass de-stemmed & fab borrowed trousers now ripped & covered in rose - did I mention they're a lovely off white colour :eek::eek:.

Only one thing for it ... pour new glass of wine into peasant style glass & decide to increase next year's clothes budget so can trhow sewing machine into nearest river & never have to use again

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Thanks guys!

It's great being able to announce it on here. I'm banned from a facebook announcment as last time I did that, my cousins found out before my aunts / uncles and I was in big trouble with my Mum.

Indeed Lula, went via Raileasy with 2.5% cashback on Quidco. I normally use Virgin direct, no cash back but then no booking fees! However flippin site wouldn't let me book  Hopefully cashback will cancel out some of the booking fees!

Lula, meant to mention, sorry your exploits went wrong.. that is so what I would do, have a fabulous money saving plan and then it taking ages longer or costing twice as much.

I think drinking wine out of peasant glasses looks quite chic though!

    Awwww...congratulations :j:j

Glad both mother and baby are doing well, what a brilliant weight and a gorgeous name! I am soooo jealous, I love it when my sister has babies :rotfl:

Lula you seriously crack me up! I trust you manged to saved as much of your wine as is humanly possible?! I hope your friend isn't too mad at you about his trousers, have you told him yet??

I added a bloke to my facebook today who's from my area and had sent me a wink through zoosk, he is too fit for me but I didn't think a bit of light flirting would hurt ;) He said he'd be on tonite and did I want to chat. And typical bloke that he is hasn't been on all night! He must have seen pics other than my profile pic (which is a good one) and ran  Ah well, bring on the next one!! :D I keep saying this, but I don't know what 'next one' means when I've not has a first one yet haha!

SBC... You have every reason to be drunk on a school night, you are F Fabulous  Didn't we arranged to all come to your house party when you're MF

Gwen.. I hate profiles with rude names too, I don't even bother wasting my time looking at them.

I am doing really bad with moneysaving at the moment, although I am in a position when I need to watch every single penny I spend. I say I'm doing bad but I can't be when I have no money to spend, I think it's coz I don't have money to place into saving and pay things where I normally would.
I've started a thread on the CSA board so I feel I've at least set the ball rolling. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that if I do end up getting awarded anything then it'll get backdated to last week when I first phoned them up.

I promised myself an early night tonite and it hasn't happened again!! But it will do very soon. I'm gonna go to bed now and at least then it's 2 hours earlier than I've been for the last month or so, I love being up of a night, it's just the next day I'm not so keen on.

    I hope everyone's ok!

Lula you did crack me up :D

Hmm not so sure about the baby talk, I'm not a fan of little kiddywinks.

Going back to the redhead thing tho... I luuuurve redheads, something about them makes me go "mmmmm"
