Mmmm cheese :D I decided to treat myself when I got back from the gym today but didn't want to ruin my hard work with chocolate or sweets so I got a tub of Philadelphia instead, nom nom nom.

I hurt so much right now, I pushed myself until I had ringing in my ears, the taste of blood in my mouth and wanted to vomit. Then I pushed a bit more!

The trainer who gave me my schedule was there and I wanted to prove a point to her. Also the routine is only effective if you go 100%. Not to mention that I desperately need to shed some chub so I can look good when I meet those hundreds of impressionable freshers at uni in September :D

I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.

Holly I love the colour of Russian Blue's are Burmese a similar colour?

Either a little or quite a bit paler. The darker of the two was a little bit darker than the Australian Blue kitten in the bottom right pic here (end of the page) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burmese_(cat) and the paler probably closer to the creme shown two pictures up - quite different for sisters. Before them, we had a brown Burmese; the face shape of our two was probably closest to this pic. Fab cats: love to fetch and play, and really bright.

:j OH has just found his phone charger (under the sofa at his mum's...). Today goes in the diary as the first time he has found anything he's lost. :D

TDQO - that's very virtuous of you. I would like to say I feel your pain, but the closest I have got to exercise today was packing up the eBay sales. ;)
  • Evening everyone

Today, I have mostly been eating, Home Made Lemon Meringue Pie.

Thats all my dairy stuff & eggs used up now so hopefully the replacement thermostat for my fridge will arrive tomorrow cos having the oven on to bake pastry s insane in this heat. (wipes sweat from brow)

On the work front my Mangler has decided he's not at all happy that I've backstabbed him by applying for a different role. Not sure what he expects though when he told me he'll need to make even more people redundant in October & thats when the new role would start.. I thought he'd see it as doing him a favour.

Maybe a kind of backhanded compliment

    Who knows?

Thing is I had a chat with him about it before I applied & he was fine, or so I thought.

    It's like working for a woman ;)

Yes you are! I had to admit I laughed though. Hope everybody's ok. I've been lurking a bit, just reading the going's on. I'm struggling to keep up with all the newbies. Hello and welcome to you all. Hello damnsam, LMM and Carole and anybody else I've forgotten, sorry, I am terrible :o, but hang around and I'll soon get to know you all.

I've been a bit frustrated by my own moneysaving/making efforts over the last couple of days, but I did manage to open a new ISA. Getting really fed up with Quidco. 59p paid out!! Woohoo! What about the other 140 pounds?

Any news on the niece/nephew, makeup?

Lula - Wow, you've been busy! I read your Quest aswell and you've gotten loads done!

eco - How are things with you? Things going well with your man?

Hello everybody else, hope you're all doing well.
