Makeup - am furious n your behalf at ignorant & vile abuse - good job I wasnt there, would probably have got arrested for abh or something

Doctor @rsefish just text me ( only 20 hours past his ring by date ) & confessed to not having a driving licence ( neither did the Artifish , am beginnning to see a pattern here of men without licences on internet dating sites ) anyway, he suggested that I go to his & he cooks me fluffy slamon with tiger prawns, I drive to southampton for drinks, we postpone, have phone sex or none of the above.

I have read The Book so you all know that I'm going for the last option but without bothering to reply ... it's not just guys who can be too busy to call you know :p:rotfl:.

    xx

Thanks Lula, it could have been a bit scary but wasn't too bad. I know all about him and it wasn't surprising behaviour. I can't exactly go into it here but he won't get away with it.

I can't believe all these PoF men....am imagining yet another date whereby salmon with prawns turns out to be a Tatco ready meal which you have to microwave yourself.....do they have a secret code or something. Maybe they've all read a crazy self help book that advocates this behaviour??!!

Well done on you for ignoring this nonsense and planning fun stuff with your friends.

And who knows, French millionaire may have lonely friend!!!!!

    Good luck with painting!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

This is brilliant! Am assuming they are both flats?? Or are you walking in a funny stylee too??

I imagine that you are now super-cool trendsetter in office. Next week everyone will be doing it!

If anyone notices just say 'it's all the rage in New York' and 'Blake Lively wears odd shoes too'

And they both sound very pretty, hooray for sparkle on a work-day!

    Bwahahahahaha:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Nope both flats! Luckily i work with 2 guys and they know and see nothing...it was the lady in reception that asked if i had 'new' shoes coz she saw the sparkle one peeping out! She gave me a choccie to cheeer me up so i'm ok and i WILL still go to Morrisons after work regardless...and if anyone says anything (which i'm sure they will cos i would)....:cool::cool:

Oh god, I'm reading a post on the army forums about military habits that sneak into civvy life... I've realised that 7yrs at military school have left me with a whole raft of bad habits like:

    - my hair is still short back and sides, any bloke with long hair is derided as being a 'mong'
    - I shave every day even though I don't need to
    - I have to fight the compulsion to polish every pair of shoes and iron every pair of trousers
    - I use "say again" instead of pardon
    - I plan RV's and OP's when out shopping/at concerts etc.
    - I use a whole raft of military lingo without realising.
    - when camping I still take a survival kit with me and 'wet' and 'dry' set of kit.
    - I call everything 'kit' lol.

Just another quick post - gotta get my fix before I'm unplugged

Friend just called to blow me out tomorrow night - she's bagged a date with man who appears to be loaded ... pics show him all over Europe with his Gallardo . Typical, she gets Lamborghini Man & I get not one but two men without a licence between them :rotfl:

So, I am thinking that this is Karmas way of saying " put your purse away & get your paintbrush out" It's a moneysaving weekend for you. It does mean that I can now return the jeans I bought for tomorrow's big night out :D & get back to shrinking into my old ones . Am keeping the t shirt though because it's sparkly & currently wrapped around my assets :rotfl:

No, doubt I will attempt to get back on here again at some point .... how on earth I'm going to cope for 2 weeks when we're away I do not know

    have fun & be fabulous

    lula
    xx

ps - Buffy, you're welcome to all men in uniforms, I like mine to have bit of individuality :D

Hi everybody - happy Friday :j

makeup - sorry about the work stuff but the mojitos sound fab  I love evenings that turn out to be fab, drunken and a little odd :D

Nothing much planned for the weekend! Need to give my apartment a really good tidy/clean/blitz and a should make the effort to go to the gym :o

I was just looking for some quotes for my speech at tonight's leaving do & came across this quote.

"Only men who are not interested in women are interested in women's clothes. Men who like women never notice what they wear" - Anatole France

I thought it was quite apt for this thread.

    You're not wrong.

I've been a full time civvy for 10 years & I still slip back into it occasionally :o
