Evening all, I'm waiting for a couple of mates to arrive and a girl one is trying to set me up with.... Just going to start drinking and hope they show before it's too late! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Hi all, am starting the new diet today, my shopping arrived this morning so I have no excuse for not eating sensibly as there is hardly any rubbish food in the house now (except for the Ben and Jerry's which fell in my online trolley:rolleyes: it was half price though:D).
I have checked the bill and I think I got it right, the shopping was £50.03:eek: (I had to spend £50 to use a code and I was stocking up on a few things, I don't think I have spent that much on a food shop before:eek: it did include 2 bottles of wine though;)) plus delivery at £5.50, minus £10 code and £2.70 multibuys it was £42.83 so saved £12.70, got 232 points and £5 quidco:D (and a free ticket to Legoland:D)
I might do it again as long as I can find codes to cover the delivery as it did stop most impulse buys and it was really easy and saved traipsing round the supermarket and the fact that I have spent so much means I will have to stick to my diet to make it worth it.
I have just remembered that I have a voucher for a free drink at Starbucks which runs out next week so I might go and do that today and start the diet tomorrow, I don't want to miss out on a freebie:D I also have a £5 voucher so might go and buy a book or a magazine to go with it.
I have PMed one of the board guides re the move to the diary board as this is not a diary, they will find out what happened and see if we can be moved back.
Hope everyone has a good day:D TDQ, enjoy your evening:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Well that didn't go brilliantly but wasn't an abject failure either.
She wasn't drinking neither was my mate who was driving her.
She didn't tlak very much and I got a bit wasted and talked way too much. Oh well, we shall see what she thinks...The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Afternoon all,
At least you communicated TDQ , keep trying
Well done on attemtping to relocate our relocation sarah, it's just not on. My diary however seems to be stuck all alone on the main board. Maybe because it's a shining example to all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'm in the process of painting half the floor ... will attempt the other half next weekend. I've only put the undercoat ( actually crown white emulsion on a bogof at focus :T) on so far but already it looks great & shows how desperately the walls need painting tooMight attempt that tomorrow if I have any energy left.
I know it's rental & not mine but I finally seem to have found the will to make it as nice as possible on my fluctuating budget. Men can go to the back of the queue until further notice0 -
Evening all, What's everyone doing this evening?
I'm stuck at home but on call so I can't even have a drink in case I need to drive :sad:0 -
Hellooo teeny footed peeps. I'm not even remotely jealous at all this talk of new red shoes, however if someone comes across a pair in an 11 I'd be ecstatic. Even DD1 (aged 9) has bigger feet than most of you. Should redundancy come my way I'll be reading the job ads in circus magazines.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Hi All
I was going to make watermelon daiquiris this evening but have only £2 in my purse so can't afford any bacardi :mad:
I started off today with £20 and can't really work out where it has all gone......
I'm sat at home watching ER but I had a fab day out today with friends so can't really complain.
Although it does p**s me off quite a bit that I do all this stuff which is quite interesting and I get out there and everything and I'm still flipping single.......I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
I think that sometimes Make up, I have seen loads of my friends lately, signed up for stuff and answered all freaky mail from free dating websites, still single. Although I guess life is a little more interesting.
