Single and in Debt Part II

Make up, you are not a selfish person at all. I would feel exactly the same. That's 3 bad people:D
4 bad people. I am very lucky that my two oldest friends who have kids haven't changed hugely - we know each other too well! and so that friendship is solid but most of my friends with children just talk about kids and I can't really add much. And Make up I do remember having the same pangs too, its a funny sense of loss mixed with ooo a baby that I think single girls only get xxxxxx
I winked at a really good looking guy on OKcupid btw, I am trying - I use up all my winks really quickly! I am working on being light hearted about it but can feel the old complusion to keep checking (like I used to with my phone!)
I have had some nice responses to my picture and well so far so good!
Sarah - plan? cos I am kinda panicking re money. I will be back later to explain, now I am off to homebase to buy some wood so I can ...................................... build a vegetable patch.
xxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
honeys, I'm home.
Or rather I was home a day ago, but I had a vast amount of sleep to catch up on. As the quote goes, "There is no (wo)man in need of a holiday as much as the one who has just had one".
Got off theon Monday, but still have my sea legs with me, leading to some rather amusing lurching around Tatco like an old lush last night. The Bay of Biscay was decidedly bouncy, which was fab for sleeping, but a little disconcerting when climbing stairs, trying to put my contacts in and avoiding poking my eye out with a mascara brush. I have decided that in my next fantasy life, I want a house at Getxo near Bilbao, where there are fabulous beaches and mountains, plus a pod of dolphins about a mile out from shore. In fact it's been a great holiday, so there will soon be further and strenuous eBaying efforts to make money for another one next year.
Sarah - I think I saw a wooden box marked "Sarah's Mojo" just off Southampton, so it is on its way back and you should be reunited with it soon. It had a little bag attached marked "New Plans"...
makeup - Count me in amongst the Bad Gals. I do have more than one friend who remained exactly the same post-baby, so there is hope.
TDQO - Have aand a . Hope things are getting better.
Buffy - have a fresh stock of;););););););););)...
Gwen - did you manage to step away from the sales?
Lula - :rotfl:to Mr Artist. I wonder if keeping in touch would resemble Groundhog Day (and nice work on the carpet btw - popped into your thread before I got here).
I have  managed to spend far less than I budgeted while away, so I already have a start on next year's holiday fund. Either I had bought far too many clothes before I went and was shopped out, or I have just got out of the habit, but either way, it's definitely good.
So how are you all? What's been happening? Can't wait to catch up on all the news.
See you later. X0 -

Hiya
Just popping in. Glad to see you back Sarah. I hope you're forming fabulous plans. Have you thought about joining a 'net dating site? Even just to see what's out there and have a few dates? I know how you feel though, even though I have a house, I feel like it's holding me back until I can get it into a state where I'd feel comfortable inviting a guy back.
Sounds like you've had a lovely time Holly. I've missed your smilies! Funny you should mention sales. Oh dear. I've not been doing v.well. I got a new jacket (not in sale, but entirely paid for by vouchers), a scarf reduced from 20 to 8, another scarf and vest top which Oasis kindly paid me nearly 2 pounds to have (v.kind of them), another top reduced from 25 to 8, some shoes reduced from 60 to 30. I guess I haven't donen too badly. The problem with going sales shopping now though is that I'm falling in love with lots of full price stuff and I walk out wanting to cry. Oh dear. I really need to get onto making some extra money, but I have a hectic couple of weeks coming up at work, busy weekends and more job applications to do.
Anyway, better get off, might be back later - hi to everybody else!!
