Hi gwen I have a sony ericson, w890i had it for a year and I've dropped it a few times, but it still looks good and it's working perfectly, I swop mine in November, then my brother wants this one, his phone is a SE and he want's one that's similar to operate, before I had one of those sliding phones but it went before I was due to upgrade.

I forgot I have 2 inherited sewing machines, my sis has one, and they rarely see the light of day, they were my mum's and grans there all singers and still work, but we'll be struck down by lightning if we get rid of them. So we have to give them house room till we pop off. Don't but one unless you really feel you have to, there heavy to lift and a pain to thread.

I have an awesome new pair of steel-capped boots for work... matt black with a maroon tongue and stitching. They also have d-rings instead of eyelets for lacing them. I love boots haha!

Very funny, you sarcy sod :p :rotfl:

There have been no red ( or even gold ) shoe purchases here today :( I went into a couple of shops but had already decided that I wasnt going to spend more £20 which was in vain as there wasntt a single pair that I liked/ could do more than sit down in

I did find myself a really sweet pair of blue rocket dogs with black & white striped owls on though & as they were only £10 I left a label with my address on as suggested by sarah & they found their way home. Rather naughtily I decided that I may as well not waste the £10 left out of my 'permitted' £20 & found myself a couple of cheap tops for £6.37 :shhh: so I'm now off to confess all on the clothes challenge :o

I've also had to do some dodgy financial maneuvering as I completely forgot that tomorrow I actually need to buy a train ticket, drinks & some food while out & due to rubbish week at work have earned a pittance

    bye for now

Fee Fee just noticed on your sig that you are £43 away from being sub £5k - well done!! :j:j

Good luck to Ziggles and Hollyberry for the free listing ebay day (and anyone else who is flogging their quality merchandise!) I have only got in from work which is my excuse!

Just one more day before the weekend :j

I'm going on a weekend away. I've had membership with YHA for ages but not used it so a few weeks ago booked up one night at Sheringham YHA (North Norfolk coast) apparently is very nice Victorian town and has lovely lovely beaches. I'm hoping for good weather.

I thought I had a fab deal on the train tickets but just checked and I think I've got tickets for completely the wrong day aargh!!!:eek:
Must dash and check this out..........
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

    • took snacks to work
    • checked nectar points (nearly at 8000:j)

    :eek:Turns out I am a complete idiot.

Somehow instead of booking tickets for 28th June have booked for 19th July :eek:

    No wonder they were bargainous!

Luckily my ticket out is fine (and was only £7)

But have just had to buy one to get back again which cost £17.80 - although did splurge on 1st class - was only a couple of quid more and figure I need the comfort for what is going to be a long journey home  with 3 changes!!!

I rang East Coast but their help desk is only open 9 - 5? Not very helpful and didn't want to leave it as their website was showing the £16 fare at all. So booked via Rail Easy.

I can't believe I did though, I'm normally careful about that kind of thing but this time managed to mess it up completely! I keep telling myself it is a cheap weekend anyway as Youth Hostel if £15 for night including breakfast.....

makeup, how annoying, it's lucky you checked before you set off. At least the replacement wasn't hugely expensive and the weekend sounds like a bargain.

Ziggles, it is such a pain isn't it:mad: Am usually okay with my eyes if I remember to take the tablets but the constant itchy nose and sneezing is really annoying. :j for the date tomorrow, how exciting.:j Hope you have a great time, glad we planted the seeds for you:D

Aargh - just lost big post.

    In brief:

Boo for hayfever, I really sympathise with all you sufferers. It seems to be worse this year or is it my imagination???

Ziggles - yay for date. How is plenty of fish? Is it free?

Lula - loving the bargain shopping - tenner ace for Rocket Dogs in my book?? You are super thrifty shopper and I can see you coming out with money over come December.....what is next £50 challenge??

A friend got me onto this fab site with lots of sellers of vintage / handmade stuff so gorgeous jewllery, bags, pictures, etc etc. www.etsy.com Only problem is all prices in dollars so have to keep doing complicated calculations to work it all out?!!

And I've been rash and bought a necklace - lush! And the cash came out of paypal and I had some money in there from surveys so technically free!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills
