    Me too! I am hoping that this LBM will be the end of it. I know if I stick to a sensible budget with a few treats and do some overtime I can be clear of everything in maybe 18 months. Maybe even less if I am very sensible. Then I can start to build up the house fund. :jUntil then it is NSDs and counting every penny. icon9.gif

    ha ha, we definitely sound like clones! I'm in the same boat, if I have sensible treats, I'll debt free and will be able to move out of my dad's. No offence against him, I just feel like I've come back to square one again, 10 years later.

    So fed up being single!!!

    I would quite like to get the debts out of the way first, maybe not everything, but enough so that I don't look like I am totally carp with money. ;) I cannot wait until this is done and I can start throwing everything at an ISA and my house fund. I am sick of paying for things I bought ages ago and can't even remember getting.:rolleyes:

    Morning all :hello:
    Welcome Paul! Early start for me today yuk! Just online to check banking - some overtime money went in today £214 so I think I may have squeaked it past the dreaded bank charges - I was a total of 73p over my limit for about an hour so fingers crossed :rolleyes: Payday proper tomorrow so the real DFW challenge starts.. by the time I'd logged on here I'd already blown Aprils wages so this will be the first full month under the MSE microscope... just a little bit scary.. all of those naughty little spends just waiting to reveal themselves:eek:

    Have a great day everyone!!

    Eek! i somehow *don't* think that yesterday was a NSD for me: ended up buying a PrettyShiny macbook !! To be fair, i had the money for it, and i got £100 off with education discount, *and* it should last for yeeeaars, unlike this stupid thing: less than 2 years old, and has been in for repair 4 times, and is slowly falling apart! But, no matter how i justify it, *eek!*

    Ha, when I had my offer accepted on my flat on the 14th Aug 2006 I started buying things for my flat. Bearing in mind I was living in a shared house so only had the bedroom to store things, plus I'd just moved out of my ex-boyfriends 3 bedroomed, 3 receptioned room house, where I lived for 3 years, I had tons of stuff! I couldn't move, yet I was out buying a dyson, cutlery, etc etc, crazy!

    You're not alone!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o;):p
