I've found you gemma. Having a little nosey now I do appreciate that the writer has placed the link to my flickr. I've had the rollercoaster pic used for an online newsletter before. Was a little while ago and they did ask for permission!! Lol!

ok Tim got back to me ( i sent him the link to ur flicker site and the offending website his reply was:

'Yup - they have broken the law by copying that image. You can tell because the notes on flickr say "© All rights reserved".

If it said something different (some waffle about Creative Commons) then it would be OK for them to use.

However, If your friend had previously set it as a Creative Commons image and changed it to a copyrighted image afterwards, then the website is still allowed to use that image.

I hope that makes sense! Otherwise...call me!'

Thanks! I though it was copyright protected. It's always been at those settings and i haven't changed them at all. I think i might contact the writer(once i know what to say). Thanks cm and thank your friend too.

Evening all Had to get the bus home from work as OH worked late and has just phoned to say he's got a flat tyre so going to be even later as has to pump that up before the drive home :eek: got a special delivery this morning, it said COMPETITION WINNER in big letters on the front ... thought it was a surprise win but it was the Eddie The Elephant toy I won last week that'll be going to OH's neice this weekend for Easter with her Buttons egg :T
